I will die on the hill that rechargeable batteries are an excellent investment when you need standard batteries. I find that they don’t always last as long off of a single charge as disposable batteries do for their whole lifetime, but that is made up for easily by the fact that you can just recharge them over and over instead of throwing them away every time. They tend to power devices fairly well, and being of the standard size and shape of disposable batteries makes them fairly versatile as opposed to dedicated battery packs for things like those pesky Xbox controllers that are somehow opposed to the idea of a built in battery. ... show more

The charger works with AA and AAA batteries, and it’s easy to use—just plug it in and wait for the light to turn green when they’re charged. I've used Energizer rechargable for over 10+ years. The batteries have evolved a little, increasing the mAhr output over the years. For me energizer is a trustworthy brand. My "charger" is also quite old. I think it works great. In fact, I do not see a similar rapid charger for sale these days. Perhaps I'm fortunate. Pros: - name brand - quality - great for home electronics, remotes, Wii, game controllers, etc - quick recharge if you have the correct charger Cons: - slow recharge with the slower charger - a little on the pricey side to start with. But over time you break even Suggestion: do not mix and match newer rechargeable with the old. I personally feel it leads to more recharge cycles on the newer. so I always mark my batteries and try to use old with old and new with new. When the charger flashes red for a battery, then its life it done and I recycle it ... show more

These batteries are extremely useful and convenient. I play a lot of VR games and was getting tired of having to change out the batteries once a week. Over time, that can become a weekly expense of getting new batteries. So when I found these rechargeable batteries, I knew I needed them. Energizer is a trustworthy brand and knew I can trust their quality. These double AA batteries are of excellent quality and can hold a charge for about 3 days of constant use. It comes with a wall charger that can charge all four batteries at once in a matter of hours. The wall charger does have a hard time staying in the wall socket since it is only one prong and with all the batteries in it, it can get heavy. I had to put the charger on a power strip so i can lay down instead of hang out the wall. Another critique to note is that once you charge the batteries enough times, it starts dying much quicker. Now it has been a couple of years since I purchased these and I am only now noticing a difference in battery life. This was to be expected but I appreciate how long they have lasted so far. These hold the charge longer than generic brand ones. Being Energizer, they don't have issues with sizing as these rechargeable batteries fit just like non-rechargeable ones. I would definitely buy again.
