Bought it to trace wires in my wall, worked well, MIL used it to get keys out of an elevator shaft, first try. Extremely good value for what you are paying. Camera quality isn't super high definition but it does have multiple light levels and functionality to adjust to whatever job you need. Battery life is about what you would expect from a 30$ tool. You can use it for a couple of hours straight before needing a charge. Not the most durable of builds, I recommend buying a travel case and not beating it like a DeWalt drill lmao. The picture is pretty clear. I have reptiles I allow to roam my home free and I have been using it to locate them if they are under something. 1 improvement would be to put 2 small hooks so the camera cable can be more easily controlled while spooling it out and back

    • Handy flexible cam for many uses
Got this thinking it would be useful for such issues as plumbing but it’s been helpful in other ways. For plumbing yes, to locate a clog that’s within the length of the scope which is about 4 feet. It’s come in handy for the kitchen sink disposal when there’s something in it that shouldn’t be and won’t pass through the drain. Helpful when I was changing the headlights bulb for my car to be able to see around the back of the casing. Even to locate something on top of a tall appliance or shelf this can quickly peek on those high surfaces bs getting out a ladder or step stool. Nice inexpensive unit with much better than expected resolution. Just remember to charge it every 60 days or so if you don’t use it often as lithium batteries hate getting deeply discharged, particularly when stored in very hot or very cold conditions (best to keep the tool in a 60-80 degree F environment if possible but still periodically charge it). If not properly maintained and charged the batteries will likely crap out fairly quickly and can’t be saved. Just a few years ago a tool with this capability would have cost 5-10 times what I paid. The image quality is fairly grainy, Stiffness of the cable is not so great. I used it for a short run to look through a previous home owners installed wiring and then had to remove the wall portion where I needed to do the repair .
