I used 3 panels to hide the neighbor's trashcans (with their permission of course). As well as our AC unit. Have assembled 7 panels so far. The instructions are very clear, but you need to make sure the horizontal rails are correctly positioned as you begin the assembly with the unit upside down. Getting the slats positioned required some practice! The earlier versions required two types of screws, whereas the more recent version only requires the self-tapping ones. Also they now use plastic post anchors instead of the earlier metal ones, which were a lot sharper. So I had to buy an auger bit to drill down into my hard packed soil. Finally, the front page of the instructions has a QR code wherein you can buy only one panel rather than the two that come in the box. However when I scanned the code it said that "one panel is not in stock." Not sure why you can get two, but they don't have one! Used the fence to hide A/C unit Pros: One of the most noticeable benefits of this product is its appealing design, which surpasses that of most products in its category. It's also easy to install, with stakes that can be easily inserted into the ground, and a tall enough height to hide unsightly trash cans. Installation is also relatively simple, with vertical slats that can be easily run through the middle crossbar. While each plank has a different height and order, any mistakes can be rectified with a little care, as the planks can be popped out if necessary. Cons: One downside of this product is that it is not as sturdy as one might expect. It seems to be more focused on hiding items rather than serving as a solid barrier. It would have been better if the manufacturer had used hard plastic for the entire fence, to eliminate concerns about flimsiness. Additionally, there is an error in the instruction guide. While it suggests using self-drilling screws to attach the stakes to the fence, regular screws should be used instead. This can cause confusion during installation and could potentially damage the product if the wrong type of screws are used. ... show more

Needed something to cover my pool equipment and robot cleaner. I had a suncast set of panels that got really dirty and broken after about 10 years (they were WAY overdue for throwing out). These worked well. They were a bit tedious to put together. I also had just completed other privacy lattice screens from the same company, and they worked better than these. But I needed something that would match my existing fence, and this was the closest I could find. The reason the were tedious in assembly, was not the assembling of each panel, but rather how the panels fit together. Since there are no posts to connect them to, the panels had a hard time standing side by side straight and evenly. I had to stagger the middle panels to line up with the ones in front. All and all, they look great, and were not expensive. Very good quality. They say "no dig" but be prepared to DIG!! You need to dig to put the metal stakes in the ground, and also make sure the holes you dig are the same depth etc so the fence lines up. I was very nervous doing this with a gas line for my pool heater, electrical lines for the pump/filter, and pool pvc piping underground. But it all worked, and looks great! ... show more

Overall, this product is okay and does the job (in helping conceal some AC condenser units) considering the price. Assembly is pretty straight forward (especially after you build/assemble the first panel and get the hang of it). I do have one complaint. I ordered two sets of this fence (each box comes with two panels). The two sets that I ordered had two different designs for the posts (i.e. vertical members) as shown in the photo. The two sets of fences have different post lengths (so the overall height of the fence panels are different). As a result, I had to embed the taller fence a little bit deeper into the ground (so that the top of fence height is level/the same for all panels). Also, as you can see, the anchor/stake used to embed the posts have two different designs...haha. One set has a stake that is made from the same material as the posts. The other set has an aluminum or stainless steel stake. Just mentioning this to customers/people who want to order more than one set of this product/fence (and to be aware that you could run into the same issue/situation as me). At the end of the day, this fence does the job and serves its purpose. ... show more

I purchased two of these to somewhat conceal our generator from the road by our house. I plan to paint it brown to blend in with the landscape. Overall, a great purchase. I chose to go on YouTube to watch the video for assembly guidance. I was glad it was available. I like the fact that it is plenty sturdy, yet light and I can remove a panel, if needed, for maintenance on the generator. ... show more
