  • Nice privacy Screens
Style: Privacy Screen
Does the job with creating a nice private space. BUT....the assembly is a PAIN!!!! I unfortunately had to assemble 6 of these by myself and it took me about 6 hours. But I was able to figure out an easier way to put them together then what the directions said to do. So....with that being said...It would be much easier with 2 people and they ARE well worth it if you can get past the assembly part. They are very sturdy once installed. And have a nice look and feel to them. They work prefect for me. ... show more

  • Look great, but the assembly #$&@!
Style: Privacy Screen
I bought these to add a little extra privacy around a hot tub. I put planters with vines by them and the vines look great climbing up the trellis. But the assembly was a PITA and took over three hours for the two screens. I would say that assembly is a two-person job but I am pretty sure that would end in divorce. As soon as it is all together on one side it falls apart on the other. My suggestion is that after you get the slats placed in the side rails that you use a luggage strap to hold the screen together while you place the top and bottom rails. Why the hell they didn't pre-drill the holes in the metal stakes I will never understand. They give you a drill bit to do it but you will still need a powerful, fully charged drill. You will also need a rubber mallet. ... show more

  • Good Assembly Instructions
Style: Privacy Screen
The shipper beat up the carton and we had one small piece missing, but the manufacturer made it easy to contact them for a replacement item (missing piece). Although the missing piece has not been received yet (only 1 day since notifying them), they promise a prompt response. The assembly was easy and everything fit together as designed. It does take time to assemble, but the instructions make it clear to allow 60 minutes. Durability is unknown, but I have confidence that it will hold up. I installed the panels at a 90 degree angle to each other and the tabs/screws provided secure them together, but I believe those will be weak after sun/wind/rain and over time. I plan to re-enforce the connection between the two panels in the near future (heavy duty cable ties or something else). I strongly suggest that the manufacture place a link to the assembly instructions on the Amazon webpage. The assembly instructions provide detailed drawings and dimensions-- very helpful information. ... show more

  • Nice privacy panels.
Style: Privacy Screen
2022-2023 Update: eventually we did end up putting them directly into the ground sometime last year, and they were great! I dug small holes to avoid putting too much strain on them, then filled back in once the stakes were in. Original: Assembly was sort of nightmarish, but the results are nice. Used the panels separately to add privacy from neighbors and the garbage cans, and added some faux ivy panels to finish it off. Works perfect and came out exactly as planned! Mine were going into cinderblocks with rocks filled for support, so I didn’t have to worry about digging them into the ground, but I do think that would’ve been difficult to do without breaking something. One thing: you’ll definitely need a power drill to screw the screws when assembling. ... show more

  • Very difficult to assemble and pieces don't fit
Style: Privacy Screen
The screen is attractive and the vinyl parts are sturdy. The bad news is that it is difficult to assemble and some pieces did not fit. The slots in the vertical risers which hold the slats were cut too small and the slats would not go in. Rather than the nuisance of a return, hours with a rat tail file were necessary to enlarge the slots. While self tapping screws are provided, you really need to drill pilot holes through the aluminum stakes and when you install the joining plates. The end caps on the the horizontal bars fit loosely and pop right out. Glue was necessary. The various pieces were not easy to align and four hands were better than two. ... show more

  • Assembly is VERY DIFFICULT!!!!
Style: Privacy Screen
This came in many pieces that had to be assembled. I had to hire someone to assemble it. It took him 2 days to put it together. It looks good, but I would NOT have ordered it if I had known this.

  • Great, but oof! The assembly...
Style: Privacy Screen
The finished product looks terrific and is very sturdy, but know that you are purchasing a project. I actually like assembling stuff and have done it a lot over the years but this was one of the most annoying assemblies I've done. I'm very happy with it now that it's in place, and it looks a lot better than the pre-assembled latices I've seen. But I think I swore so much while doing it that there's still a blue cloud of profanity floating over our backyard. You will be happier if you have a rubber mallet and an electric screwdriver/drill handy. ... show more

  • Love how this cleaned up my house!
Style: Privacy Screen
Assembly was a piece of cake, installing it was definitely a 2 to 3 person job (one person to hammer, one to steady it and one to stand back and ensure it looks acceptable. We decided to angle ours, but you can also square it up. It looks nice, not sure how long it will last but I love the upscale look! Design seems solid and it won't rot. Just worry about the end post, we put another tall support stake in the ground right along the inside of that end post for extra stability. ... show more
