Top Amazon Reviews

  • Subtle, realistic surround
Style: Enclave CineHome II 5.1
I am not an engineer or a technogeek, but I put together this thing in about 20 minutes. No fuss, no muss. I wanted no wires snaking over the floor from the screen to the recliner, got that. Wanted good sound, surround that doesn’t feel intrusive, got that. I can raise the roof, and sometimes I do with concerts. You listen to Beethoven Piano Concerto No 5 and you will float away, tenderly caressed by sound clouds. Spider-man: Homecoming (2017) - ferry scene. The web-slinger is an great character to test big surround effects. The showdown between Spider-man and the Vulture is an excellent work-out for a home cinema set-up. First it’s some pretty standard busy action - gun shots from left, right, up and down; smart dialogue; and then the quick move to a full-on swinging and flying fest from the two lead characters. The final act is possibly the most telling, certainly for your sub. There is some disturbing groaning and breaking up of the hull when the ferry splits in two – which needs to be communicated by your system with terrifying weight to give that genuine sense of scale. This is a moment for revealing this system's ability for dynamics and detail. Whoever wrote bad reviews to this gear was either having a bad day, or is a shill for a competing product. IMHO, of course. Update: I have had the system for a year. I have no idea why anybody would have issues with it. It fills my man-cave (25’X40’) with outstanding quality sound. Today I had my very first problem ever. The power was off in the area for several hours. When it came back, the Enclave CineHome II 5.1 produced no sound. I contacted Tech Support, they emailed me back within minutes, gave me some simple directions. It turns out that when we lost power, the TV settings which enable ARC were lost as well, thus the TV wasn't sending audio to the hub. I reset each speaker, the hub, the TV, the wireless and I was in “back in business” in 10 minutes. So, let’s add excellent customer support to the 5 stars I have given the system a year ago. ... show more

  • Awesome Home Theatre System
Style: Enclave CineHome II 5.1
Over the last 20 years I have had two 5.1 surround home theatre systems. In general they were decent. My last one cratered when the internal dvd crashed and corrupted some circuits in the receiver unit. I was tired of stringing speaker wire so researched wireless systems. Enclave's Cinehome II looked to be best and I have not been disappointed. Unlike some it comes complete in a box, not delivered piecemeal. Setup is maybe 10 min and wireless allows great flexibility in placement within a few feet of a wall socket. Connect the hdmi to the arc input on my tv, plug in the power source and within seconds it has paired to all six speakers. The handy app on my smartphone allows changing settings such as independent speaker distance sound levels. The app has a graphical layout that indicates active speakers and a touch to test levels. I have Amazon fire tv, chromecast and a high quality blu-ray dvd player connected to my tv. Replaying some of my favorite media sources sounded spectacular, much better quality than either of my past systems: the high and mid-range speakers have crystal clarity and the subwoofer provides superb bottom without any rattle. Support seems excellent based on one email question I had with a reply within an hour. For easy of installation, high quality and flexibility I hghly recommend the Enclave! ... show more

  • Terrible Company... Returned
Style: Enclave CineHome II 5.1
Center Speaker would not pair. Tried everything. Contacted Enclave Audio for Tech Support which resulted in 3 days of nonstop nonsense excuses of why they couldn't provide 5 minutes of Tech Support. Refused to accept Registration of Product several times. Endless sends of invoices & pics of proof of purchase. Then they claimed it wasn't purchased by an 'Authorized Dealer'...Which it Was purchased by an 'Authorized Dealer' through Amazon.com. Then they claimed it was 'Used' or 'Open Box'...which it Was Not. Box never was opened until it got to me. Everything was packed perfectly from manufacturer and nothing was damaged in any manner. Even the box itself was in perfect shape. Everything worked fine except the center speaker would not pair. Spent hours of aggravation and DAYS of endless B.S. dealing with Enclave Audio. They absolutely REFUSED TO STAND BY THEIR BRAND. They spent more time providing excuses than it would of took to help solve a customer's issue. Then they stated "This is Company Policy" which finalized my decision to throw their junk back in the box and ship it back. If you're looking for a wireless Home Theater System...do yourself a favor and get the Platin Monaco5.2.2 or a Nakamichi. They're much better sound...and their Management will actually HELP their customers. Enclave Audio is an Awful Company if you need Tech Support. ... show more
