This is a good starter set. I’m a CNA student and this is the same quality(basically same... other then name) as the basic set i purchased at my local nurses boutique required for my class.. no problems using BP cuff and was able to take blood pressure with no problems with stethoscope. If you don’t index the bell to the correct side(open it) you will not hear correctly out of the stethoscope. It requires you to just turn the bell(chest piece). ... show more

If your starting medical school I don’t recommend buying this one. I bought it and the blood pressure cuff and stethoscope don’t work and very cheap. You can’t hear anything with the stethoscope. I recommend the Littmann stethoscope even though it’s pricey but very worth it. I struggled a lot at school with this one because I literally can’t hear anything from it.
