I have reached an age where I can not happily use full coverage foundation anymore. So when I ordered this for the first time, a tinted sunscreen, I fell in love. I know everyone uses the one for acne but it costs more and I do not have acne. I also heard the color is strange. This one is perfect and I mix it with L'Oreal Lumi in shade medium for a bronze tint but I would use it by itself as well. I have used this nonstop for a year and a half, only occasionally using something thicker. It is light. It is not cakey. It blends so easily. Sometimes I use my fingers, sometimes a brush. I’ve been using the untinted version for a year or so and really like it so I thought I’d try the tinted version. I have light neutral-warm toned skin. The before and after pictures are with no makeup and with just the tinted sunscreen. I used one small pump on each cheek and one on my forehead. You can definitely see it gives some color but is a bit more orange than I would prefer. But I bet if I mix the tinted and untinted together it will be the perfect shade for me. I put concealer on top (not pictured) but not foundation. I regularly wear makeup over the sunscreen with no major issues but I do let it soak in for a few minutes before makeup. ... show more

A friend told me about it a while back, and when I ran out of my DRMTLGY tinted moisturizer (which I love), I decided it was time to switch things up and give this a try. Now at 51 I have always looked younger than I am. Maybe my genetics? Late bloomer also. Have always moisturized my skin at an early age? And still have always been out in the sun. I’ve used a few different EltaMD products, all of which I love. My dermatologist originally recommended the brand. This is by far my favorite tinted sunscreen. It’s so light and smooth, so it spreads well and absorbs into the skin quickly. It offers decent coverage.
