I've purchased cheaper bed frames like this from Amazon before, and they were super easy to assemble. This one had more steps but I though that meant it would be a little stupider. One of the corner pieces came broken in the packaging, and I only realized 2/3 through assembly so now the entire bed wobbles.I don't know how sturdy it would be without that issue, but it definitely doesn't feel secure AT ALL. The media could not be loaded. The item description is so misleading. And the quality is so worrying. The rods in the center is not even close to the ground! And a standard Home Depot medium box is 16 inches high. The description claim a 16.5 inches storage height but obviously the Home Depot medium box cannot be put under. Bought this for our cabin so my mother-in-law could have a bed to sleep on. Construction, when first putting this together, seems questionable at first, but after it was completed was very sturdy. Loved the fact that with the bracing slats laid out as they are a box spring was not needed. Bought a very good quality mattress to put on it and my mother-in-law loved the bed. Very pleased with the purchase. Delivery was on time and had no difficulty with the instruction. Did take time using only the included Hex wrench to put together. ... show more

This bed is so easy to assemble & VERY sturdy!!! All pieces there (and spare pieces too), came with its own Allen wrench. The height is great to give storage space underneath. My ONLY complaint which I don't know if was due to them or more likely ups is that the box literally fell apart as I brought it in the front door. There was tape all over the end, box basically was mutilated along with instruction booklet. The bed pieces though were all accounted for and unharmed. ... show more

    • doesnโ€™t seem sturdy.. and instructions should of been more clear.
kind of disappointed on how it still squeaks even when using all my energy to screw everything tightly at the end. not bad tho for a bed platform. the instructions should of been more clear especially for the last step. got confused but was able to find out what to do.
