I built a DIY platform bed for my Sprinter van and needed a sleeping pad quickly. This one had overnight delivery so I went with it. It inflated in a few minutes and held air for the 3 days I used it without requiring a refresh. The size was perfect for my van with bump out capsules. The only issue I noticed was when someone shifted their position on the pad, it made all kinds of noises. Maybe it was our sleeping bag fabric rubbing on the pad -- we slept directly on the pad -- but anytime we moved, the pad groaned. This pad is just an interim fix for me until I do a proper van buildout, but until that happens, I'm thinking some kind of mattress topper (foam?) might make it quieter. Product pumped really well for a foot pump. It got nice and firm, might even consider it too firm at its fullest!! But that’s just what I need because I’ll have my toddler on it with me and don’t want to be launching her while I roll around at night and definitely don’t wanna feel the rocks and twigs under us. Of course you could always make it less firm too. For being only four inches thick, it is so sturdy!! Deflated and rolled up better than anything I’ve ever tried to fit back in its factory bag before. If it deflates or leaks in the middle of the night, I will update my review. If not, assume it worked great! Also company has great lifetime warranty and came with patching stickers! ... show more

Blows up easy. Comfortable and quiet, but went flat the first night. Woke up at about 3am and knew it didn't have much air left. By 6am I was completely on the ground. My husband and I bought these for a camping trip. I had searched through lots of reviews and we decided to try this one and I’m so glad I did. I was very skeptical to use one of these seeing as it was so close to the ground (previously had used air mattresses and this was my first time going without one). Rest assured, when you are laying down (side, stomach, or back) this distributes your body weight very evenly. Setting them up took 2 minutes tops. And no, these are not like sleeping bags where once you take them out of the bag there’s no going back in. I was able to deflate these and put them back in their original bags with zero issues! They’re truly so compact and very lightweight. Both my husband and I got the twin/single size and just buttoned them together. I really like that they have this feature on them! It held air throughout the night very nicely. MUCH better than an air mattress. I was camping in 30-40 degree weather at the coldest and these faired great. The foot pump is incredibly easy, convenient, and quiet to use. I seriously cannot say enough good things about these! ... show more

I'm not sure why this gets such great reviews. It is easy to blow up so it would be nice if you were short of space and needed to roll it up. But its not very comfortable. It is very slippery and it's noisy. I slept better than sleeping on the ground or a backpacki mat, but not as good as my self inflating mat. I'll keep it to keep in car for impromptu overnight, but not going to use it for main camping mat. It took me awhile to figure out how to get all the air out. I reviewed instructions over and over and watched the videos and followed all directions, but there is a final bunch of air that won't come out making it too bulky for the bag. I finally figured out that there are two levels to the air release on the pillow end of the mattress and you have to release both of them. Once I did that, very easy to roll up and put back in back. If there were instructions somewhere that addressed that I sure missed that. ... show more

I recently bought this for a camping trip that I just went too. The problem i had with a traditional air mattress is that I would sleep on it, and i would wake up in the middle of the night practically on the floor (air mattress deflates fast). This pad is extremely easy to pump. It has its own individual air bag that you can manually pump with your hands or foot, aswell as 2 air holes you can open to pump and deflate with a machine extremely fast aswell. This pad however kept its air all night long. I’m a somewhat heavy dude (210lbs) and a side sleeper aswell. I have somewhat broad/pointed shoulders and i could not feel the ground at all when laying down. My wife actually was getting tired of the air mattress that she wants her own sleeping pad now ( we sleep with our two toddlers and they are clingy ones at that, so each of us has our own bed with one toddler haha) Definitely recommended. I will be buying another pad for my next camp trip to get rid of the air mattress for my wife! ... show more
