We entertain a fair amount, and I ordered this on a whim. So far, I have been impressed with it. I like the feet on it, so it doesn’t over heat the counter top it is sitting on. Since all the places I would use it are a granite surface I am not too concerned with this issue. The one draw back on the legs is that they don’t go to the edge of the surface. This means the edges could droop. The items that we would use this for would be the low or medium setting on a hot plate or in a crock pot. I personally would use the stove top for anything hotter than 175 degrees. That is just a personal preference. It cleans easily and I like the fact you can roll it up to store it. It has a nice storage bag. I use the bag but also kept the pox to protect it while it is not being used. I have used it twice now and I am happy with it. Super nice quality heated table mat. On the higher price end, although none seem to be lower by much. It is solid material. Wish cord was longer considering many might put on table, but again, is about average for them from what I have seen. Does a a very nice thick bottom platform. Easy to use temp setting on and off. The media could not be loaded. So, I wanted to have two of these, the first one I got was great, but it somehow mysteriously disappeared from my house 🤷🏼♀️ so I replaced that one, and I wanted a second one for my basement. We do a lot of hosting holidays and parties, we use our basement as another main hub besides the kitchen for parties. So now I have one mat to keep down in the basement and one for my kitchen. This mat heated up very quickly when I plugged it in and is very simple to use, it has the nice rubber legs on the bottom to keep heat away from the surface. It has three temperature settings and a nice Velcro strap to keep it rolled up tight, also a nice mesh bag to store it in. I know from personal experience that these mats really do work, so this is going to be a great addition for my basement gatherings and keeping food warm. ... show more

I am helping to host a family reunion at a pavilion at a park where everyone is bringing a dish to share. I was looking for ways to keep dishes hot. This surface warmer looked like a good option. The Good: -The "feet" on this warmer are more substantial than any others that I have seen. The surface is elevated above the counter or table to prevent it from being overly heated. The counter does get warm, but not hot. -The controls are the simple. There is one button for on/off, and one button to adjust the temperature. -The unit became hot quickly. If you like a placemat looking warming mat with big rounded corners, maybe this one's for you. It warms up relatively quickly, about two minutes. The build appears to be solid. And it has a nice, simple set of touch controls. It is low profile, standing about half an inch from the surface you lay it on. It comes with a strap to hold it down when you roll it up and put it away. It also comes with a little bag to put it away in. So overall this is a nice warming mat. The only thing I did not like about it is that while there are supporting feet all over the underside of the mat, there are none at the edges. As a result, parts of the edges of the warming mat appear to flop down. I tried flexing these to try and fix it but could not. Also, the logo and placement seem a little tacky to me. I'm not sure how I've lived this long in life hosting so many gatherings that involved food for groups of people without one of these in my life, or how I didn't even know they were a thing. I love this warming mat. It's going to be perfect at the holidays when there is more food than there is warming area. The thing is big at 24" x 15.7". It's got three temperature modes (low 140, medium 176, and high 212), and it heats up very quickly. It was only a matter of a few seconds before I could feel the heat already on the mat. It's got little nubs on the underside of it, so the heat is not directly on your counter tops. I love this thing and I may actually invest in a couple more of them for the holidays. Plus, they'd be an amazing gift for someone that spends time in their kitchen. ... show more
