He said it's important to note that this would not have worked in our other bathroom without his redoing all the wiring. Had two with problems with each. When finally installed the temperature is not actually hot. Will still use as it is in my garage and is used to clean my smoker grates and clean paint brushes, neither requiring really hot water.

I should have paid attention to the 4.5kw aspect of this heater. It really puts out a lot of really hot water. So much so that its too powerful for just one sink. You can adjust the temp but this could clearly run a shower as well as multiple sinks. Easy to install.

I bought this point of use water heater for my laundry sink under the auspices of knowing I was not going to get 115° Hot water so it’s warm water I’m getting I can live with it for my needs No What they don’t tell you Anywhere any advertisement is what the wattage rating breaker needs to be. There’s only one spot under the specifications which The unit require 1. 40 amp breaker. Also, keep in mind you can’t use a standard three prong plug being a 40 amp basically requires hardwiring it to the fuse panel, so you better have some extra wire and a 40 amp breaker As for the temperature of the water here in Central Florida, out of the sink tap I got about 98 to 99 That’s OK for washing your hands, but that’s about the extent of it Unless you like a lukewarm shower I think if you live in a colder Climate, your ground water is going to be colder so therefore your Point of use heater might not be suitable ... show more
