When This bike arrived I could not wait to put it together and take it for a spin. I have been waiting for months to buy a rugged electric bike like this. I spent a while researching both on here and social media for something that might be reliable. Putting this bike together is pretty simple if you are mechanically inclined. It takes a few twists of the wrench to bolt on the front wheel. They include tools to tighten up the front wheel, tighten up the handlebars and the steering stem as well as the kickstand, headlights and fenders but I used my own tools. The seat is easily adjusted with a lock wedge. Installing the pedals is simple using a standard 15mm metric wrench. All parts on this bike are metric so they included a full metric tool kit. All accessories on the handlebars are easily slid into place and you need to tighten them up with a X screwdriver.. The bike has a 7 speed Shimano gear system. I have had other bikes with this derailleur system and they have been proven to be very reliable barring throwing the bike down on the derailleur, having it get dirty or gritty. There is a derailleur guard on this bike to protect it. It is important to give it a spray every so often with a spray lubricant to keep it clean and well lubricated. Shifting was easy and when twisting on the throttle I found the acceleration pretty snappy for a bike of this type with a 500 to 750 watt motor I believe with a 48 volt 13 ah lithium Ion Battery which can be removed for charging. Peddle assist works well and will extend the range of the battery. Breaking is responsive but pretty average for a bike of this type. It does stop fast however so watch how hard you apply the breaks until you get used to them. I found the suspension to be a bit stiff but it may loosen up once I put some miles on it. The seat is pretty comfy. The lighting package is good and you will have no problems being seen at night although I will be adding a super 1200 lumen light on the front for better night time visibility. I really like the balloon tires but I would have liked a tire with a bit more tread to channel more water out from under the tires when driving on slick, wet pavement. I really like this bike and after only having it for a day, I think it is a good value. It is not a lightweight bike. It is really rugged and I like the rack on the back. I’ve been driving this eBike for a few weeks now and have to say I really like it. It is well built and sturdy. It’s quick, comfortable and well equipped. I have to say the packaging for this bike was excellent and my bike arrived well protected without any scratches or damage. Setup wasn’t difficult at all, but having a helper would be beneficial since the front wheel and handlebars need to be installed. The bike does weigh close to 70 pounds so it’s a bit bulky. That’s something that needs to be kept in mind for some smaller folks, but once you get going on a trail its easy to ride and lots of fun. Riding the bike is very comfortable due to the fat tires. They work well in all kinds of terrain like grass and stones. It accelerates very quickly. I tried all 5 levels and for cruising you don’t even need to go past level 2. The front and rear drum brakes work great too. This bike is well accessorized from the lighting to the fenders and rear cargo rack. I ended up upgrading with a water bottle holder and a rear-view mirror. The seat is comfortable, but I plan to upgrade to a larger one. Battery holds charge well. I do a lot of outdoor activities and let me say this funhang ebike was a game changer in getting places. installation 5/5 The ebike was really easy to assemble it with at the pictures explaining every step by step which took me around 25min to put it together. ( tools were included to install the bike) Quality 5/5 The bike definitely built sturdy and with good quality parts. The rear rack is really strong and sturdy can easily hold up to 80pounds. Perfect place to put a backpack or any additional necessary when I travel. Speed 5/5. I weigh around 220 pounds this bike has no issues in accelerations to top speed, going uphills and maintaining the speed. The bike has 5 pedal assist levels for you to choose from which makes the ride more comfortable to your own desires. Battery 5/5. The battery came with more than 1/2 of the charge in it which last me around 40 miles. On the full charge of battery you definitely should reach the 55-60 mile range. Overall 5/5 The bike is very comfortable to ride, absorbing a lot of the small bumps in the road. From commuting, to exercise, to riding on trails, this thing really does it all.
