I did a bunch of bouncing back and forth on the e-bikes and picked this bike based on reviews of others and also the price point was good too. Bike came within a week of ordering so that was great. The assembly instructions suck. I instead, used the video and watched the guy assemble it. Now the controllers and things I had to figure out by watching you tube and other media as the bike came with no instructions or guidance on that. Upgraded the seat as the little seats are quite uncomfortable and added a speedometer that is gps linked. Bought both on Amazon so they came fast. The bike has been great so far so we purchased a second that should be here this next week and will use when we go out camping (since they fold nicely and can fit inside the front of our RV. The biggest pain point of you want to call it that was the shipping charges on these vary greatly and looks like most of them come from the same general area. Not sure why that is unless that’s a cushion to adjust pricing and still cover profits. ... show more

I was looking for a replacement for my Ancheer folding bike whose battery died after 5 years. A new battery would have cost around $250, so I opted for a new bike with bigger wheels and suspension. It arrived very quickly and in good condition. The basic assembly was pretty straightforward if you know what you're doing. The photos are much too blurry to help. Also, the most important information on how to hook up the battery is not included. Additionally, the power-button instructions are simply wrong (Correct should be: button flush-power on, button sticking out - power off) Very disappointingly, the disk brakes are not working properly, i.e. after countless tweaks, they're still rubbing. It seems the actual disk may be warped. Also, the gears are totally out of whack, misaligned, and make crunchy sounds in almost every setting. In addition, the battery hanging in a flimsy bag from the handlebar and the motor attached in a plastic housing on the outside of the frame are less than ideal and result in a forward center of gravity, which may become a serious problem on downhill rides. My old bike had the battery and motor concealed inside the frame and a much lower center of gravity. I have not taken the bike on any longer than around-the-block rides because of the crunchy gears and rubbing breaks, yet the motor seems powerful. At this point, I will have to take it to a bike shop and spend at least an additional $100 for a tune-up. Overall, I would not recommend the bike unless you're willing to spend time and effort in tuning and potential repairs upon arrival. ... show more

The bike is cool, I get a lot of people complimenting me when they see me riding the bike. They ask where I bought it how much etc etc. However after only having the bike one month I noticed the rear tire was getting bald so after a month and a half I switched front tire to the rear and rear to the front and then it got bought again about a month and a half later. So I purchased a brand new set of tires at a cost of $60 from a local bike shop and those tires have been on the bike for 4 months 5 months now and they still show little where. Another issue of running to I'm constantly breaking spokes on the rear wheel. The spokes that come with the bike are not strong enough to withstand the stresses that the motor puts on. The mud flaps that come with the bike are very cheaply made and broke within a couple months. The brakes also wear out within a couple months of purchase. It is a fun bike to ride however just be prepared to spend money frequently on the bike. The bike was mostly assembled and the instructions that come with it are not very easy to understand the tools that come with it are very cheap. The switch that is on the battery I had to repair twice. Right now I don't have a battery switch at all it's bypassed just so I can use the battery because the switch kept going out. So far the charger is working fine however it does heat up a lot when charging so keep an eye on the charger and make sure it does not overheat. The battery seems to last as long as advertised that's about the only thing that is beneficial with this bike so far after owning it for 8 months. ... show more

It came in a timely manner. It was straightforward to put it together. The directions say to torque the bolts, but who has a torque wrench for that application. I've had it for three weeks. It is fun to cruise around on. The brakes do squeak. II bought it because a reviewer said it was a good size for a 6 foot three guy. I am six foot five and the seat does not go high enough. I will have to buy a seat bar, but for the price, I cannot blame the manufacturer for not accommodating my heighth. ... show more

Everything about this bike so far has been flawless! It's my first ebike so I don't have anything to compare it to. But I can't imagine needing more bike. It was fairly simple to assemble. It's as fast as I care to go. I've ridden 14 miles in a single outting and still had 4 of 5 bars of battery left. I bought a second one for my wife.
