This bike is a 5-star beast. It is built like a tank and handles very well. At 122 lbs. the bike is heavier than most e-bikes, but it is due to the 60 Ah battery at 30 lbs. and the rugged construction. The weight is well distributed with a low center of gravity making it very stable and maneuverable. If you plan on transporting this bike you will probably want to invest in a bike hitch rack with a ramp. I love that you can adjust the peddle assist to suit the way you want to ride. You can set the number of peddle assist levels as well as the peddle assist power output on each level. The top speed right out of the box is 33 to 34 mph. The power output can be adjusted on the display while riding. You can set it to front wheel drive, rear wheel drive or both wheel drive, with both wheel drive being the highest power. Climbing up hills on throttle only is a breeze. It seems like there have been some design changes on how the front wheel is installed so I attached a picture of the way I did mine. Cons first: the assembly video shown on Amazon shows a different process than the manual, but really wasn't much of a problem. Just confusing at first. Secondly, the seat totally hit my butt in the wrong places but that's understandable. Different seats for different butts. I bought a seat that fit me, problem solved. Ok, pros: everything else. good breaks ,ok headlight,nice tail light/break light,good power,true 1000w motor ,to use cruise control hold down the minus button at whatever speed your at, tires are on the cheep side, heavy duty fram ,good suspension,well built good aluminum welds,Bluetooth is pretty much a gimmick not a price point the app isnt that good.headlight isnt automatic you have to turn it on,the bike is so heavy it acts like a 20 amp hour battery not a 40ah,the best acceleration iv had on an e-bike geets to 20mph fast 30mph top speed is no problem,I got the pearl white one its a nice paint job. ... show more

This bike is well built and easy to put together when it arrived and the comfort and speed is more than I could have hoped for. I would recommend this bike to anyone that’s at leased 5’10. My wife is 5.5 and has trouble riding it but I love this bike!

    • Terrible Customer Service with defective product! See Update
We were so excited to get our two e-bikes after spending months researching. The Wallke was the choice we made and we were not disappointed with the look and sturdiness of the bike. However they do not work. We get a error message on both of them that indicates that there is something wrong with the motors. We have been trying to get help from Wallke for 6 days. They have sent us text messages supposedly explaining what we can do, which made no sense. The video was to dark to see and we could not understand a word spoken. We have repeatedly asked to be able to speak with a live person and just last night after we went to bed we received a text message saying they wanted to call at that time to do a video chat about 9:37 PM. We had already gone to bed. This has been a huge nightmare and now we are being told that we cannot return these two bikes. They cost us $3300.00 + . Please beware when you buy from Wallke and Amazon. update: It took a week for someone to actually call us but when they did they were able to help us fix the problem with the bikes. They were very nice and helpful. We are now waiting for the snow to go away so we can try out our bikes. We are hopeful that they will work as expected. We will keep you updated. Update: Due to weather and husband back surgery we have only been able to ride our bikes a little bit but were very impressed so far. The other day we received from Wallke for each of our bikes a bonus helmet, bike rack and carry case. Wow! That was unexpected and much appreciated. I must say that what started out with a not so good communication with this company has turned out to be over and above service! ... show more

This bike is a disaster in every way—weight, build quality, and reliability—and I deeply regret not returning it the moment the battery failed, just weeks into ownership and after only a handful of hours of riding. The warranty process for repair was nothing more than an exhausting, drawn-out mess, seemingly designed to wear me down into giving up entirely. If you read the negative reviews here and elsewhere, you’ll see the same pattern. I wish I had done more research before making this purchase. The battery failed completely, leaving me with an expensive, useless bike. For a product at this price point, the lack of reliability is shocking, and the hassle of dealing with the defective battery is beyond frustrating. Bikes need to be dependable, and this one simply isn’t. Imagine being stranded on a trail and having to push this 130+ pound lump all the way home. If you’ve already bought this bike and it dies in the first few days, don’t waste your time with repairs—return it immediately. Better yet, save yourself the headache and avoid buying it in the first place. I would give it zero stars if I could. ... show more
