The bike rides nice and it was easy to assemble. The assist actually keeps a decent speed even going up hills. My only knock is they advertise 34mph but 30.2 is definitely cruising pretty fast.

I got the 17.5ah edikani 29in mountain bike new. Easy to put together smooth ride great speed, I got it up to 32mph and looks great my one thing that I'm concerned about and this happened as soon as I first put it on the road, there was a really strange noise from the motor when I take off and it makes that noise every time I do take off whether using the throttle to accelerate or pedal to accelerate with the assist but not when I'm just riding with the bike turned off. Would be awesome if the company would try to help fix this issue, cuz It's my only transportation. Will update soon as of now I've had the ebike for about a week. ... show more

    • Does NOT Do 34mph
Its a decent bike for $899 The bike frame seems like good quality, the gears are a little cheap and do not seem to ever work the way they are suppose to . I just found a happy medium on what gear works best for peddal assist up hills and just leave it in that gear since you dont really need the gears anyway since its a electric bicycle. It does NOT do 34mph like it says it does. I got it up to 29 mph on flat road. It rides pretty smooth and the headlight is very bright . I dont like that it doesnt have a brake light, the phone holder is nice, along with the screen display . Brakes are good but needed adjustment. Not hard to put together but you should be a little bit mechanically inclind if you are the one putting it together . I like that it has a electric horn. Shipping wasnt bad , about 5 days from westcoast USA to eastcoast USA. Im not a big fan of the thumb throttle , seems pretty cheap. I rather have a regular small throttle built into the handle grips like other electric bikes have. Overall im happy with the bike. ... show more
