    • Higher than expected quality, power and speed
For the price this bike is high quality. Maximum speed in power level 5, using both motors is around 35 mph. Has tremendous power for trail riding and hill climbing, and it has more range than I do. In other words, by the time I'm exhausted from riding, there is still more than 50% left on the battery. The 4" tires handle rough trails, sand and loose gravel very well. The biggest downside is that the power is not proportional to the pedaling torque/effort. It turns on/off based on whether or not the pedals are turning. This makes it a bit jumpy if you are in a low gear with a high power level. And the chain and sprockets will be subject to rust since they are carbon steel, but we keep it garaged when not in use, and will seldom ride in the rain. We bought two other higher-end bikes for my wife and I that have torque sensors, so they are smoother and easier to ride, and the batteries and controllers are stored within the frame. I suspect that they will last longer because the chain and sprockets are stainless steel. So this bike is better suited to the power junkies and athletes (like our a young adult children), who love it, while my wife and I (senior citizens) love the higher end bikes because they are smoother and look high-end. This is a great solution for us, the kids have a more powerful, funner bike that is cheaper, so it will be ok if it gets banged up on the trail riding, while my wife and I can cruise the local scene with our city bikes. ... show more

What can I say. This E-Bike has been a blast to ride. I can finally enjoy bike riding again. At any given time I let the bike itself power just take me home. Pedal assist makes riding so much more enjoyable. Having the two motor is a plus also. I rarely use the 2nd motor but when needed it's as easy as pushing a button and your off to the races. Battery life, brakes, speed, dual shocks, thumb throttle which in my opion is the better option. Needles to say a must have. Shipping was fast and putting it together for the first time was easy. A second person to help out makes even easier. The seat is the only thing I would change. Sorry but I need a little more comfort. You can't go wrong with this E- Bike. ... show more

This review is updated My first review was regarding my misunderstanding regarding wattage ratings and peak wattage. Overall this bike had met or exceeded my expectations. The long battery life and top speed (36mph so far) has been awesome and I highly recommend the 2- wheel drive for sand and snow!

I was surprised with how nice this bike looks in person. The build quality is great and the bike has more than enough power. I had some issues with a part and customer service took care of the issue quickly. Fun to ride and have no regrets on the purchase.

I like the ruggedness of this fat tire bike. I like that I can use single or dual motor power. The bike is easy to ride and pedal without any motor assistance as well. I like the feel of the seat. My only issue with the entire setup is the thumb throttle, I would have preferred a twist throttle option. It’s not a complaint as it is a preference. ... show more

The Fengqs Q8 plus e-bike is totally awesome. Based on my opinion, if I experience the least disappointment I would be the first to criticize, but I give credit to and where it's deserved "Great job." All parts accounted for, no damage upon arrival. I followed the instruction manual, results were just as advertised. The Fengqs Q8 Plus e-bike looks amazing, rides like a winner, top speed 38.5mph, to 40.7mph on a slight decline and brakes are sensational. The bike has so much incredible power, by throttle or PAS. I'm serious about what I've enjoyed with this e-bike. I bought a few accessories like a bag, mirrors, sport seat, helmet, water-bottle/holder and pedals.
