Elden Ring is an amazing game. I didn't buy it until it had been out 2 years. Definitely the most difficult game I've ever played; but the challenge is worth the difficulty. Played almost 80 hours in a month and a half.

I quit gaming I think it is a waste of time, but since you are reading this review you probably don't so I will tell you honestly despite my developed personal opinion, I did enjoy the game in the past. I think it is one of the greatest open world games ever, it feels hard at the beginning but once you get the hang of it and level up as you progress the story you should be fine. My favorite out of the souls borne games I’ve played (ds1,2,3, Sekiro). Being able to tackle insane bosses early on and being able to f off to other places for hours at a time is something I missed so much in all the other games I’ve played of this variety from From. I’ve still yet to beat the last two story bosses but everything else has kept me insanely entertained. I think this is my ideal souls game, and I’ve heard that from others as well. If you try to progress in the story and you can’t, you have a million other places to go, loot to get, bosses to kill that can be manageable by your character. If you want to crank it up a notch and beat extremely difficult bosses that aren’t required? Do it. If you want to skip to the canonic end of the game in a couple hours? Yeah you can do it And there are so many freaking viable builds in this game. I switched playstyles in ER like 3 times after strictly being a str OR dex guy in my dark souls playthroughs. You can main a bow. Or faith or magic. Not to mention the subtypes of those builds It’s amazing ... show more
