Very high quality and workmanship. Handsome woodworking is basically a work of art. It isn’t overly powerful, but is fairly accurate. Maybe one out of five shots will go off-target. Gifted to a seven year old gunslinger and has quickly become one of his prize possessions. He immediately commented on how nice it looks. Again, don’t expect a high-power welt cannon…that is actually one reason that I am comfortable letting him play with it on his own. I’m sure you could find higher tension rubber bands that would work to increase distance and velocity, but I won’t advertise that to him just yet ;) Good gift for young or old who appreciate craftsmanship, function, and accuracy (at short range, approx 20’) Lastly, it is solidly built (as described) and I expect it will hold up well to the 7-yr-old endurance testing. Will update review if anything goes unexpectedly bad. Support an American business, it is worth spending a few extra bucks. ... show more

Bought to shoot B-52 cockaroaches, too weak to stop a fly. My 6yr old enjoys it. The auto fire mechanism is an impressive and functional design.

These are sturdy wood toys, nicely polished, and have a fun and satisfying rubber-band-shooting action. You can even load multiple shots to shoot several times without reloading!
