  • Great Temps!
Not sure why this has 1 star? I had it on an i9-12900k with a MSI MEG Z690 Unify. I had it OC’d on a per core ratio of 5.5 with a 2 core load, 5.4 with a 4 core load, and 5.2 with an all core load. The vcore was 1.4 and temps stayed around 60c-70c with an occasional spike close to 80c while gaming. The spike was due to the per core ratio changing to higher speeds as less cores were being used. I will update when I receive the ASUS ROG Maximus Z690 Extreme as I returned the MSI MEG Z690 Unify because the bios made it very difficult to get the all core ratio vcore down without crashing my max ratio. The LGA 1700 Socket chips run really hot. There is a lot of power and cores running through it. Get the vcore as low as you can. This is an update. I cannot fully remember the past temps with the MSI MEG Z690 Unify and not even sure if the ones mentioned above is accurate because of the temps I am getting now. The EKWB EK-Quantum Velocity 2 is sitting on an i9-12900k seated in a ASUS ROG Maximus Z690 Extreme. My OC is 5.7GHz on a 3 core load, 5.5GHz on a 5 core load, and 5.3GHz on an all core load. The vcore sits around 1.38 and temps around 45c-55c with a max temp of 70c while gaming. This is a heavily modified OC with OCTVB(changing the temps on the TVB) and Load Line Calibrations. This is a really great CPU cooler. ... show more

Theyre no instructions in box and the qr code did not work on my phone. But does not have a limit on how tight the block can be to the board. Also butts up against the first ram slot on my asus z690p wifi board
