I haven't assembled anything in years and was nervous because I've never been good at that sort of thing. I had my boyfriend help a little but I think I still could've done it alone! It only took about two hours and we probably could've done it faster. It's sturdy and feels good quality. I even wiped it down and was surprised how clean it was. My favorite thing is how much space it seems to save compared to our old queen bed. Without a footboard and without a couple inches of space at the headboard, it makes a big difference! My only concern was the middle support beams didn't completely reach the floor. I had some round pads that I stuck on them and it doesn't seem like it'll be an issue, photo attached. ... show more

I’ve assembled many furnitures throughout the years so I’m not new to this. This bed frame was not aligned. Had to use a hammer and hammer pieces to make them stick. Took me 3 hrs and lots of sweating. Now that it’s together, it feels and looks super sturdy. At least with thick metal, I know it don’t get dented or scratched. And since I had to hammer pieces together, I know it’s never coming apart ... show more

This is an extraordinarily strong and well-conceived bed frame that requires no box spring underneath your mattress. Its Rustic headboard is stunning, and adaptable to so many interior designs that embrace a warm, industrial farmhouse or mountain home experience, which I brought to my apartment in New York City to counter the bourgeios look of so many standard urban apartments. My only complaint is the shear amount of time I needed to devote to assembly as the solo assembler: 4-5 hours, and I'm relatively proficient at furniture assembly. Moral of that story: Don't assemble these EINFACH bed frames by yourself. My son's twin bed version took closer to 1.5 hours to assemble with his help, and that was working casually. ... show more

We got this for my 12 year old son, it’s very nice and simple. Easy to put together, my hubby and son put it together in no time. Super sturdy, it been up for about 2-3 months and we had no issues with the bed becoming loose. It sits high so he can store things under his bed too.

My tween wanted a new bed frame as the old one was from grandma; the headboard and foot board were chunky and took up a lot of room. She liked the style/look of this one, modern but rustic. And no footboard was a plus. It's a platform bed and you do not need a box spring, just the mattress. It seems sturdy so far, we've all laid on it and the dogs have jumped up and down from it.
