I've been using my Ego Slider Fishing Net for three years and it's performed flawlessly. I've caught everything from bass to pike to musky in sizes upwards of 30 lbs and the net has netted the fish well. The handle and net (I have the rubber coated net) have held up to a lot of abuse. The handle length adjusts quickly and effortlessly which at times has been necessary when the fish I'm reeling in is a bit further from the boat than I anticipated. A couple things to keep in mind: The net is a bit heavy compared to other nets that I've used. Also, the rubber coating on the handle has ripped in multiple places but the repair is easy - I fill the gap where it ripped with GE Advanced Silicone 100% Waterproof sealant, smooth over the fill, and tape it tight with 3M painters tape. Let it dry for 24 hours, peel off the tape and the repair is durable. ... show more

This EG2 slider net is amazing! I love the way it functions, flawlessly extending and retracting. It's not a cheap, fixed, low end net, and is well worth the price. I haven't had a chance to use it yet due to purchasing over the winter, but have no doubt it's a HUGE upgrade over my older landing nets! And it seems durable enough to be the last net I'll ever buy....providing I secure it properly and nobody sticky fingers the doggone thing. Bring on the 2023 salmon runs! ... show more
