    • Lightweight with a full accessory kit
This is a lightweight board which should make it easier to carry compared to another I have which seems heavier. It comes with a full accessory package including oar, ankle tether, fin, hand pump with pressure meter (see below) small dry bag and waterproof phone bag. The last 2 I consider nice to haves rather than essential SUP accessories but kudos for including them. Pumping was fairly easy although it IS a workout and if it’s something you want to become automatic, I recommend an electric pump making sure that it has (or you buy for it) an adapter for your SUP. It does make a big difference in that you can leave it pumping while you do other things to get ready. Since I was testing THIS package I did use the manual pump and like another reviewer I found that the pressure did not register at all on the pump’s meter, even when it was truly hard from pumping. Since I didn’t have another means of comparison I’m left to believe something I read in a forum somewhere: that these manual pumps with meters tend to register at the very last minute. I clearly finished pumping before that last minute came so I’m undecided as to whether my meter works or not. Construction was generally ok although the black side band was deformed somewhat on one side and less so on the other. It was enough of an eyesore to seek clarification as to whether it would lead to any compromise during use and I was informed that it was cosmetic. Not as smooth a finish as I’d like though so we’ll see if it gets worse with use. There are 2 permanent fins on the board so my advice is to be careful when packing, especially if trying to cram (don’t cram) all the accessories you need in the provided backpack. With the other fin, I prefer to insert it before pumping not after. The backpack itself is of pretty good material and seems like it would hold up over time. I would not store the board permanently in the backpack though. Some of my friends keep their SUPs inflated and in a cool place when not in use. It would have been nice to have the possibility of having the single paddle convert to a kayak paddle with blades at both ends. I thought I was missing a piece when one reviewer talked about 2 modes of paddling but alas no, the physical equipment and the instruction booklet were in synch: no kayak extension. Reason it is nice is where you have novice paddlers who might want to sit on the board kayak style and paddle in that mode. Not a big deal though. All in all a decent board, fairly light but wide and long which will suit beginners or those that practice board yoga. dog optional (but there’s certainly room). Want to be prepared for summer SUP trips. This solves my big issue for mounting the GoPro to the board. The size is great for 2 adults plus one kid. The material feels very solid but light weight. The pump works great and I think it can pump two SUP at the Sami time. Love the small dry bag comes with it. The storage bag finally is not ugly black. Can't wait for summer to come! ... show more
