I have to deal with hurricanes in Florida, along with frequent power outages. I bought this because I work from home, and having no power is not an option (before the EcoFlow, I have used various batteries, and a Ninja solar battery). The EcoFlow will be used inside, not outside. I'm currently running multiple tests (I'll post updates as I get them). So far, everything is working within specifications. As others have stated, it's heavy. You won't be carrying it around with you during a hike. The phone app is very cool (lots of config options). I noticed the available battery power is always changing, because the watts in-use fluctuates. It does make determining how long the battery will actually last...impossible. You'll have to run your own tests on the devices you want powered (especially for a disaster scenario). It has low noise (but not zero). Has a nice, bright digital panel, which you can adjust the brightness and standby time for. The 2 available battery expansion ports are awesome; perhaps a future purchase. I did email the company about a question I had, and got an immediate response. So, that's good. First impression is, I like it. Is it worth $5,200? I think in a disaster scenario, yes (I know what it's like to have no power for 5 days). If you're using it to power tools at a worksite, probably not.     • AWESOME Portable Power Station for Home or RV!!

So I finally “bit the bullet” knowing this was a huge investment, but have been wanting and shopping for a portable solar power solution for a while. After researching and reading other reviews, I decided on the EcoFlow Delta Pro!! I’m really glad I did!! This thing has a 3,600W output that can run almost anything I throw at it. The biggest draw for me was the 30A RV plug on the front. Now I can plug my entire Class C 30A RV into this for “shore power”!!! Incredible. Now with one, I wouldn’t be able to run my RV A/C for very long, but these are expandable for more power and longer use!! I also got the 400W solar panel with this package deal. I’ve tried it once and was pulling in 350-360 Watts in direct sun which is great!! I plan to get 2 more to really be able to charge faster. Now these units are HEAVY at 100 lbs, but with the wheels and handle, it’s very easy to move around. If you have to pick it up, you may need a 2nd person unless you’re in the gym often (lol). The solar panel is also around 45 pounds itself. Everyone complains about how it uses the case as it’s only way to be propped up and I agree, Poor design for the solar panel but does work. I love all the options on the EDP from the many output options on the DC and AC sides. It also has fast charging from your wall outlet where you can charge the unit in about 2 hours!! I also like the option to connect via Bluetooth OR Wifi for remote operation! The App works great and is simple and easy to control all the feature of the unit. You can set limits for how fast it charges and options for when it turns off automatically, etc. I also like the fact that you can connect these to power your entire home in case of power outage with proper connections (like a generator input into your panel). With two of these units you get 240 output to run larger appliances like electric stoves, A/C, dryers, etc. It’s a large investment but it’s plug-n-play without buying all the devices separately!! I do plan to install a generator inlet to run the non-240 items in my home during an outage!! I’m really just super excited to own one of these and can’t wait to really start using it to its full potential especially while camping!! I’m going to complain a minute about Fed-Ex who is their shipper apparently. You would think going from Georgia to Indiana would be a fairly easy trip. It was scheduled to arrive within like 3 days from ordering, but next thing I see, the unit lands in Connecticut!!! I”m like WHY?? Then it sits there for like 3 more days before continuing on to Ohio (getting closer) and then KENTUCKY!! WHAT?? So it ended up taking a week to get here when it really shouldn’t have. I think they need to look at their shipping options. But this has nothing to do with the functioning of the unit, but that part of the entire process really frustrated me. Fast shipping, I used a P.O Box for whatever reason they don't write the PO Box number down, fortunately my post office is Boss. The 400w panel produces 240-260 watts seems pretty low considering I was angling it directly at Sun. The cords on the panels are short and they don't really design a way to store them safely other then cardboard tubes. That being said the panels seem well made but for a $1000+ per panel could better in design. The Pro battery is very well built but still only has one input outlet for solar, I am a little disappointed by that. The adaptor cords honestly seem more likely rated for the 220 watt as I got a second 400w panel in series connected and was only pulling 300 watts. The pro comes with handle, and I bought the protective case for it. Over all I wanted something adaptable, powerful, and durable. In order, 4 stars, 3 stars, and 4 stars. It is handy and can be a life saver in critical situations, but is it the premium unit that covers all your luxury hopes and desires? No...I rate it highly simple because there is little else out there to compare to at the moment. I like the vision of eccoflow, and the diversity they hope to bring for offgrid living.
