I can alot, especially in the fall. One of the things that has always been a hamper is that I use bar-b-que tongs to lower and lift my jars to and from the water bath. Not an easy thing at all. Or at least for me it's not easy. All that nonsense has changed with the purchase of the Eeoyu Canning Jar Lifter Tongs. Rubberized on the handles and rubberized on the tongs enhance the grip in your hands and on the jar so that's awesome. And while I have not canned anything just yet since purchasing the Eeoyu Canning Tongs I did give them a practice run on jars ranging from size 4 ounce all the way up to size 32 ounce. And not empty jars neither. Each jar was full of jam, jelly, pikliz, vegetables, or tomato juice as to give the Eeoyu Tongs a proper testing. And just to really test these Eeoyu Tongs out I submerged each jar in water in my 16-quart Mueller pot. Grip? Great. Slippage? None. 4 - 32 ounce cars? Check. Even wet jars? Good to go. Ease-of-use? I have used them twice for lifting pints out of the waterbath and the vinyl coating has already split on one end and the handle popped loose from the side. I have a pair from the 70's that I would trust over these.

The media could not be loaded. The rubber is very thin, this was my first time using this product. It’s already melting the rubber. I compared it to one of the others I have and the rubber is half of the size. It’s worth it to spend one or two dollars more and get something to actually does what it supposed to do. ... show more
