This is a highly disappointing unit. was installed 2 years ago in a renovation. It required 4 breakers at 220v and 40 amps. The internal fuse went bad twice within a week. Obviously something inside is defective. It takes forever to obtain the fuse adding insult to injury. Was advised by our plumber to replace, which we did. No recourse with the manufacturer which was called by our plumber. Hopefully, the replacement unit lasts more than 2 years ... show more

I bought this as a replacement to a previous Eemax electric tankless water heater that failed me after 6 years. This is the only system that fit my current configuration of power and water lines, which is why I got it. I've only had it a few months but love it. It is far better than the previous version, better quality materials. Of course I'm curious to see what longevity I get out of it, but pleasantly surprised it has already surpassed my expectations. Do hire a professional to install it. It will be worth the cost. The system is different from a standard water heater. Do your research. Something minor like running your hot water faucet while the water is turned off will destroy your system. The water takes a little longer to heat up than standard water heaters. But once it does the heat is uniform, constant and limitless. Shower for an hour or 2 or more and it still stays hot. Take 10 showers back to back without issue, always hot water. I have 3 bathrooms and can use all 3 showers at the same time. The only issue is reduced water pressure. The cost up front is high and this isn't for everyone. I'd recommend it for those who have done the research a determined this is the right system for them. I wouldn't recommend it for a rental property since the system is sensitive. The system looks as pictured and I couldn't find a picture of the inside prior to purchase so I included an interior picture on the system. ... show more

The product is obviously very complex and requires a plumber to install but for those people who live in small places and want to maximize every inch while having unlimited hot water, this machine is for you!

Was able to find it in used-like new condition, so price was unbelievable (half off). Totally satisfied w/performance. For 2-person, all-electric household in Atlanta suburb, works fine. Not sure how works w/full household w/many things going (washer, showers, dishwasher, etc.). I'd advise to oversize if you can afford it. Also, note all installation costs if you're a DIYer like me. You'll need a new meter socket box w/atleast 8 extra breaker openings--it's 240V, so for the 4 elements each breaker will take up 2 spots (I bought a 4 opening meter box by mistake the 1st time--wasted money!!!). ... show more
