  • Eemax tankless water heater
Pattern Name: Water Heater
Works as expected in a small cabin with shower and sinks. Maintains constant temperature with shower and sink being used at the same time. I replaced an existing 5 year old tankless unit that no longer worked. Be sure to consider the existing electrical supply and upgrades that may need to be made by an electrician that are required for this unit. ... show more

  • Exceeded my expectations
Pattern Name: Water Heater
Replaced my old Titan 2 N-120 with this unit and this unit really beats everything about my old one. Awesome digital adjustable knob, easier wiring installation because the connectors actually fit the wires. I already had all the necessary electrical configurations so easy to install. As a note, don’t over- tighten the connections to the unit. I mangled one of the compression sleeves and had to go to Home Depot to buy a set of 3 for$3.85. No leaks and very hot water. ... show more

  • One of best home improvement choices!
Pattern Name: Water Heater
Bought a used one. Product arrived in great condition but was missing the plumbing adapters. No biggie for me, I got some copper pex elbows at lows and used the compression fittings to attach. Super simple for someone who knows this stuff. Hard part was running a new 6 awg wire for it. But this thing works great!!! Endless blazing hot water. Yes, it will work on a tub too, but you need to make sure water flow is slow enough to heat properly. Can't say enough good about it. No more tank water heaters again! ... show more

  • Only for very low volume
Pattern Name: Water Heater
I’m using this 13k unit in a workshop for one sink. Installation was pretty simple, although I’ve done plenty of wiring and plumbing before. Used 6 AWG ans directed even though my heater is only 5 ft away from the breaker box. Made certain the unit was full of water before turning it on. Pros: I like the blue a lot - looks cool. Easy to install, to operate and to set temperature. Digital readout is nice. All the connections are straight forward. Not much to it. Cons: I’m in Texas and air temp today (winter) was about 60F. It should be able to heat more than 1 gallon/minute but it was not able to do better than lukewarm with the faucet fully on. I had to throttle back to about 1/2 the sink’s maximum flow in order to get truly hot water, even with the heater temp set to maximum. If I were buying again I would get something with more capacity. Not sure how long it would take to fill my big industrial sink but pretty sure by the time it filled the water already in there would have cooled off significantly. No way this would suffice for a real house/bath/kitchen. Just okay for a workshop. Instructions are average, not horrible but don’t expect to gain anything by reading them. ... show more

  • Do Not Buy. Will stop working within two months of install completely.
Pattern Name: Water Heater
Seemed like a great product when it was first installed. However, within two weeks, water was no longer maintaining an appropriate temperature and after multiple visits from plumber, nothing was able to be done and replacement was recommended and by the end of seven weeks of use, it did not heat water at all. Would not buy again. Unit stopped working just after return window closed and now we seem to be out the money spent on this unit and more money out of pocket to buy a unit that actually works as it is meant to. Unit was bought to heat water for one bathroom sink and shower. ... show more

  • Love my tankless water heater!
Pattern Name: Water Heater
I bought this because it took forever for hot water to reach our kitchen sink. I timed it first thing this morning, when no hot water had been run overnight, and it took about 10 seconds to be hot! YAY! Now for a couple of down sides. It has to be installed on a dedicated circuit using CRAZY large wiring - 6 gauge. This made it very hard to work with, as that thick of wire does not bend easily, either going into the circuit panel or the heater. Also, since you have to tap into your existing water lines, you have to hire a plumber unless you are pretty handy. Paying a plumber and an electrician for installation can easily add $400 to the cost. From what I saw on here, I thought you HAD to buy the valves. Plumber said no, and didn't use them. It was also recommended on here that you add a scale-removing filter to your water lines. Plumber said no, and didn't use it. I also bought a 2nd tankless heater and valve set because we thought we would not only have the one for the kitchen sink be added, but we also thought we could replace our existing gas water heater with one. Plumber said no, and said that would be about $1,400 to install it there. So, lesson learned - talk to a plumber before buying this. We wasted about $350 on the extra things we bought that could not be used. ... show more

This does exactly what I expected of it. If you buy a water heater, just make sure you get the right one for your needs.
