Color: 26" 4.0Fat Tire folding
So… I took a bit of a risk with this bike it seemed. The price was great, almost too good to be true, it’s not a name brand, and the prior reviews were mixed at best, scary at worst. The 29” tire model seems to have completely negative reviews, and there are even some overwhelmingly negative reviews of the 26” tire model that I purchased. However, I can safely say that those negative reviews, at least for the 26” tire model, are irrelevant. The bike looks awesome, the fold mechanic has much utility, and the build quality is great. The only con in terms of build quality are the plastic fenders, which are cheap, and my rear fender even fell off after 2 weeks of riding. Otherwise, the battery is really good for a fat tire bike, and can easily go upwards of 2-3 hours on pedal assist. Throttling at max power will maybe get you an hour straight at most, but it’s not a motorcycle. Use the dang pedals on your bicycle. It makes sense. Even name brands like rad power and sondors will die sooner if not as quickly at max power throttling. The bike is also FAST. 30mph is no sweat for this beast. Charge time is surprisingly quick as well. The last and most important thing to consider is the size of the bike. The ad listing as well as the user manual claims that it’s safe to ride this bike at 5”0, but that is completely false. I would recommend against buying any tire size above 20” from this brand if you’re below 5”7-5”8. I can’t plant my feet completely on the ground at 5”7 unless I lean the bike over and strain my leg to stand. It’s not uncomfortable, but on hills it could be potentially dangerous. I probably would’ve bought a smaller size had I known this ahead of time, but riding a tall and fast bike is pretty fun. Especially with the big tires and pretty good shocks. In essence, this bike is a great deal while on sale, which is how I bought it, and if you’re above 5”7. The shipping was on time, and there wasn’t any noticeable damage as a result of mail shipment. Great bike at a great price. It is heavy and the packaging was pretty beat up on arrival. Headlight and horn switch was broken and I could not repair it. The seller sent me another one and all is well. It's a fun ride and still a great workout if you don't rely too heavily on the power assist.
