  • So far so good but low voltage alarm is questionable
The first unit that arrived was a 24VDC unit packaged inside of the 12VDC box. I guess that's what you get for ordering open box. I returned it and within a few days the next out of box unit arrived. This was the correct one and I installed on a bench with my two deep cycle marine batteries, Victron MPPT controllers with 960 Watts of solar panels. I connected my beer fridge, a toaster oven, coffee maker and my heat gun and ran these items randomly at different times over two days but not all at once as that would have exceeded the 3500W. First of all I am not sure there IS any tech support for this company as the web site only has downloadable manuals under the Support page. No method to contact them or somewhere to ask questions. The rest of the web site is not even complete which is a little concerning. The problem I had is the manual says the low voltage alarm comes on at 10.5VDC but when I placed a heavy load (fridge, toaster oven, and heat gun) the voltage dropped to about 11.1 volts and the alarm started. I turned off the heat gun and the voltage jumped back up to 12.4 volts but the low voltage alarms stays on. It wasn't until I turned off the toaster oven and the line voltage went back over 13VDC that it stopped beeping. The output from the inverter this whole time stayed constant at 120VAC. If the low voltage alarm came on when it says and then shut back off when over 12VDC I would have given 5 stars. I'll continue testing and update here if anything changes. ... show more

  • Great unit for the money. Had a problem and they were right on it.
Unit showed up with an error message as soon as installed. Amazon and the manufacturer were both very attentive and responsive. I received the replacement in a few days. Even though there was an error the inverter powered everything it is meant to power.

  • Onboard fans consume more power than installed components
Provides power well, but it has 2 fans built in that come on even with my vehicle parked in the shade, and ambient temp is 90 degrees. Even though the case seems cool to me, the fans run all of the time, then cycle off, then come back on, pretty much any time the ambient temp is anywhere near 90 or above. I have 600ah of batteries, and unit is powering my rv fridge, a ring alarm system, cellular router and a 24 inch TV. My system works great, unless it's warm out. Then the onboard fans running seem to drain the system rapidly. Thinking about looking inside the unit to see if I can change the threshold of when the fans come on to a more reasonable setting. ... show more

  • Easy to install works well with solar RV set up
Easy to install, works very well and remote quickly displays voltage draw being drawn from batteries

  • It works.
This is the third inverter on my power station, this one is the only one to run my heavy loads. I run the coffee maker every morning and that draws 1080 watts. I run the washing machine 5 times a week with no problem. I also run a 900-watt microwave. My only complaint is the FANS on the unit are very loud. Other than that, it's the best unit I've owned. ... show more

  • Heavy Duty.
After a few issues ordering the older model I had to spend a few dollars more and get this one. I’m happy I did. I like the AC connection better with this one. It has a cover plate. 3500 might have been overkill but why not go big? I’m running two 210W solar panels and 4 6Volt Golf Cart batteries. In full sun as of 6-19-21 I’m pulling 260 watts from solar and reasonable storage from batteries. I’ve been able to run my PC, 42” tv, medium chest freezer, a box fan on high and charge my 18V drill without the inverter fans kicking on. Next test is if a few more panels will allow me to charge my EV car on mid day sun. So far I’m impressed with the true sign wave and abundant power. Oh, it’s large. Like a bread box large. Make sure it fits your application. 👍🏻 ... show more

  • Handled 300 amps of input
So far so good. I did a load test with a water heater and a 1500 watt space heater going at the same time and it took all 300 amps of two 200 Ah 12 volt lifepo4 batteries. I like the remote and I like the size of the inverter. I wired the output to an automatic transfer switch to run the whole RV when the inverter is turned on. The other side of the input to the switch is from campground/generator power and I also have a battery charger wired to that input so any time we are on campground/generator power the lifepo4 batteries get a faster charge. ... show more
