This is child-sized however it is for a tall 3-year-old or 4 and up. This is not ideal for younger ones. We ordered them for our preschool and all of our 3-year-olds could not touch the ground. I wish they had a slightly lower option. One of my tables had a chip in it but, don't feel it is worth it to dissemble to try to return ... show more

The table and chair set came right on time with an Allen wrench and wood glue to easily put all the well-marked pieces together. The directions were in simple, easy to use pictures with labels. Each chair came in its own box. The parts fit together easily. Even if you are not handy, you can put this together. There was a defect on one of the parts. The day the set had arrived, the manufacturer sent an email to ask about their product and my satisfaction with it. When I shared with them about the defective part, the manufacturer sent a replacement piece. The representative could not have been more helpful or polite. The set is perfect for young children, and mine has already been tested by a two year old with a thumbs up reaction. My husband and I have both sat in the chairs. I was more comfortable than he was, but it did hold him. :-) It looks just like the picture, so no worries there! ... show more

I did a lot of looking to find the perfect fit (price, size and style) to fit into our playroom. We choose this table for its sturdiness, curved legs of chairs, and great height to fit legs of my 8 year old as well as of my 4 year old. It is very sturdy and looks great. Chairs will not fall backwards because of curved legs. Round table looks fabulous. We had problems with two of the long chair legs (see image). One leg had the drill holes in the wrong place, which causes the chair to be very wobbly. One leg had a blue dye stain on the inside. I emailed the company and customer service was very quick to respond and send replacements. One of the replacements had the drill holes problem again. Customer service was fabulous and offered discount and informed me that they will have their product team address this issue with the factory to correct this. I would buy this set again. The set is a great quality and customer service went above and beyond to fix every issue we had. ... show more
