After reading great reviews, we bought this for our RV in January & it worked great. We were very happy with the amount of ice it produced, it was quiet & loved the little nugget ice. Two days ago, it started making a strange noise, the ice output was decreased, then stopped & the unit itself seemed to get very hot feeling. We unplugged it for a while, then plugged it back in-started making ice, but then the noise started again. Checked the user manual & have done everything correctly & it's currently running 'ok', but not like before. It's only 5 months old & already starting with issues......not happy! I will be contacting the company......it's ridiculous that something only 5 months old, costing almost $200, just sitting on a counter doing what it's supposed to do, is already having problems. For the time being-I DO NOT RECOMMEND ECOZY ICE MAKER!!! I will update after I contact the company & see how they respond. ***UPDATE*** I contacted the company & literally within hours, I received a response. The company stands behind their products, customer service rep Lisa is very nice & within 2 days, I received a full refund (no return of the unit required). I must say I'm extremely impressed with how quickly this matter was addressed & resolved. Although the icemaker didn't perform as expected, their customer service is impeccable. Would I give Ecozy another chance-possibly, as we really liked the ice maker & whatever the problem was with this unit may have been just a fluke. ... show more

Our freezer is notoriously slow at producing ice and since I work from home and live in Florida, having ice on demand is absolutely essential! I thought about getting one of the under counter industrial ice makers but size constraints were an issue and we didn't want to have to remove any cabinets to make space! This countertop ice maker is perfect! Compact, very low noise and very easy to operate and holy cow does it produce ice fast! I usually only have to run it once or twice a week as I take all of the extra ice that it produces and transfer it to our freezer for using later! We use water from our water distiller for the ice and everything comes out absolutely crystal clear! A+++ ... show more

The ecozy ice machine has a function where you can make ice within a few minutes. The ice isn't very thick, but when you are in a hurry this function is great. If you have the time you can make much more solid ice. it can be a bit hard to break them apart. Over all I am happy with this product. It doesn't take too much room on my counter. My main complaint is that the machine is very noisy. Most of the time leave the machine off until I know I will need it. Price is very reasonable. ... show more

This is such a great ice maker for such a low price, my spouse and I absolutely love it and can't really go without it now. It works so well and makes ice so quickly. Easy to fill up and just easy in general. I love this thing. I've had it about a month now and use it all day every day and it still is working perfectly. It also came with a big sheet of cute/hilarious stickers, some of them have nothing to do with ice makers whatsoever but the brand must make other things besides this and just put a sticker sheet in anything they send lol, it's a cute touch though. We put one of the stickers on the machine and it looks like it belongs there. You do need to buy de-scaler/cleaner for it, the ice will start tasting weird if you don't clean it out and cycle some water through it afterwards. The only small complaint is that I wish there was a place to put the scoop, we just have to set it on our counter. At least it does stand upright, the end of the handle is flat so you can stand it up next to the machine. It would just be nice if there were a different spot on the machine for it to go. Other than that, I love this! It gets me drinking water wayyyy more than I usually would... I have a hard time drinking water if it's not cold and now that we have this I'm drinking ice water constantly. Oh, also the machine is a tiny bit on the loud side, I really don't mind though at all, it doesn't bother me. My spouse had been worried before it was delivered that it would be annoyingly loud and she says it doesn't bother her either, it's not as bothersome as she thought it would be. ... show more

This is really good product! My best purchase ever! Makes nice chewable ice. Compact. Reasonable price. Easy to clean. I'm using every day and everyone loves it as they don't use the ice from refrigerator door any more. I put the ice in ziplock bag when it gets full, and keep it in freezer. That way you can keep a lot of ice and can use any time, even the ice gets stuck in the bag in freezer, you can break easily just like the bag of ice sold at store. Sadly it stopped making ice after 10 months. I contacted customer service. They are really amazing. After a few email exchange and sent a video so they can see what is happening, they sent me replacement and it came pretty quick. Even if it breaks again and not covered by warranty, I will buy again! ... show more

I am so happy and satisfied with the eCozy Ice maker. It is very quiet, super easy to use/clean, light, compact and makes ice quickly. I absolutely love ❤️ it! I customized “Chilly” (see photos ~ before and after) the icer to match my kitchen décor! I purchased a white decal sheet and cut them into cow shapes! I did not adhere any spots near the vents. I was so impressed …when I purchased the icer, I received an e~mail from the seller welcoming me to the eCozy fam! They also provided additional helpful directions to get started! So my bullet ice maker from Walmart died after exactly one year. I really liked it. It was pretty quick, which honestly, I thought it was great. The ice melted quick, but that’s something I was willing to live with in order to avoid filling ice trays. Now, in comes this ice maker. Wowza. It holds a GALLON of water. That gallon makes an entire bag of ice (which it comes with ice bags!). And yes, it takes a few extra minutes per batch, but it makes way more cubes per batch. This thing is awesome. Love it.
