This water heater is a real tankless water heater which really gets water heat up well and relatively fast. We have really cold water coming out of our well in the winter so this tankless water heater was a very useful purchase. If you are an experience in wiring electrical stuff then the installation and wiring of this water heater will not be too hard to complete just make sure you got the correct 30 amp circuit breaker designated for just this water heater. I have not had any issues or leaks with this water heater so based on my current experience I will be recommending it and if something changes down the road I will come back to update this review. ... show more

I do not need hot water all the time, just occasionally in the shop, but when I do need it, I do need it. So, by installing this unit, I am able to have hot water on demand and not need to use the power to heat gallons of water all the time that I will probably barely ever use. This was a great option that was priced in the same range as most of its competitors. The control panel is super simple and the installation is really easy. This is going to give me the ability to have hot water where and when I need it and save me money by not paying for the power to heat a regular hot water heater. The tank is quite small and seems well built with a sleek design so it does not look like some unsightly box hanging on the wall. Overall, I am happy with this hot water heater and I think if you are looking for a similar solution, I would recommend checking this unit out. ... show more

    • A better choice in water heaters for the eco-friendly & / or money conscious.
ECOTOUCH Electric Tankless Water Heater Water from this heater is not as hot as it was from our large tank heater, but it should save us a considerable amount of money now that water is heated on demand only, rather than being continuously heated to maintain a certain temperature indefinitely regardless of use. I find the heat of the water acceptable. It is obviously warmer,and seems sufficient for doing dishes, bathing, etc. I seems you will never need to worry about accidentally scalding yourself with this heater. - I imagine most users would consider that a positive. When deciding where to place the unit, keep in mind the closer you place this unit to the primary faucet you will be using it with, the quicker / faster your heated water will arrive! 4 stars! The photos on Amazon, provided by the seller, sufficiently represent the product. Any additional photos I might add would only prove superfluous. Explaining my rating system: 5 - a superior product - I would recommend 4 - above average – a great choice 3 - average – what one might generally expect 2 - below average – I would advise seeking an alternative 1- Horrible – a waste of your valuable money - avoid if at all possible ... show more
