I've had this e-bike for just a week now, and I must say, I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. As a first-time e-bike owner, I've been having a blast riding it around. It's been especially enjoyable taking my puppy along for the ride. Althoughthe puppy's cargo basket hasn't arrived yet, I'm eagerly looking forward to playing with him while he sits comfortably in the back. This e-bike has become a fantastic addition to my daily cardio routine. It's wonderful to have my puppy running alongside me or safely secured in the rear basket, providing us with even more quality time together outdoors. The bike itself is both sturdy and comfortable to ride, and I'm impressed with its excellent battery life. Since I mostly ride along urban roads with a bit of trail riding, this e-bike, with its Pedal Assist System (PAS), helps me conquer inclines effortlessly. Plus, the throttle feature allows me to take a break whenever I need to. I really appreciate the built-in mobile phone holder, as it makes navigation a breeze while I'm on the go. Another great feature is the bike's ability to fold in half, which makes it so much easier forme to transport it upstairs to my second-floor apartment and storeit inside. The e-bike arrived 90% pre-assembled, and it only took me around 40 minutes to complete the rest of the assemblyprocess. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this e-bike purchase. Pros: Price $850 when I grabbed it which I say fair Quality solid Material solid Features lcd display , phone clamp mount , basket on rear , led front light , brake light w turn signals , and different gears and foldable and has loads of other things too Cons: instructions could of been more clear ! Summary: Unboxing was breeze , setup took a few extra minutes due to being unclear after we figured it out the rest of the process was good , overall this thing useful and cool !     • Good Ebike; Easy to Use; Minor Things Need Improvement
This ebike is easy to use but takes 10 minutes to learn how to control it. I recommend reading the manual completely so that one knows the controls and what they do. This is the first ebike I have ever ridden, so keep that in mind with my review. It has a petal only mode, and up-to 9 powered modes which one can petal too if desired. There are setting to set different number of levels of power to make it easy for one to use. One can also set different power levels for each of the power numbers. I changed the default to be multiples of 11% instead of the default, which is listed in the user manual. I would use the 11% so that I could easily start from a stop, but it was mostly me pedaling to provide the power after starting. Brake light always automatically lights day or night. Headlight can be turned on our off with square button on handlebar control. The display dims a little when the headlights are turned on. When folding up the ebike, I did not notice in the instructions that the bar in front of the crank chain wheel is for resting the ebike on; someone saw me folding it up and pointed that out to me. It is a little awkward folding up the ebike, but that will probably get easier the more I do that. It seemed weird that the key goes under the top tube when using the ebike, but it is in a good place to prevent any injuries if in an accident. The bike has a walk mode so that one can press it while walking across the street or up hill. The ebike works well on both pavement and dirt trails. I went on a 10 mile loop of half paved and half dirt. The vibrations on the dirt trail were a lot more than I expected. I had a different phone holder because I wanted one with a sun hood. The whole phone holder fell off the ebike because the screw down bolt came loose. This is just warning that anything attached to the ebike, whether original parts or after market accessories, will loosing when used off road. Things I would like to have improved. 1) The cover for charging the battery while in the ebike seems like it will wear out. It would be nice if they included a spare battery rubber cover or two. Or redesign the cover. It might okay long-term, but I’m concerned about it. 2) The left hand handlebar grip is right next to the blinker and horn control. There should be some rounded rubber between the grip and the control like there is on the right hand grip and gear control. I forgot to wear my bicycle gloves and after 5 miles of riding I noticed that I had an abrasion on my left thumb from rubbing against the blinker/horn control. The throttle control is easy to twist. The throttle can go to maximum speed very easily and quickly. Be careful twisting it when not on the ebike. The bike starts going quickly. I found the throttle nice to use when starting off from a stop, such as a stop sign or traffic light. When in one of the power modes and not using the throttle, after one petals a little bit, but the power kicks in and in power mode. And it stays powering the ebike as long as I petal. After stopping pedaling, the power will not be applied after a moment. The 7 speeds are just used for pedaling. It is easy to switch gears though it took me a little bit to remember to use the button to go to a higher (smaller) gear, and use the lever to go to a lower (bigger) gear. I did need to adjust the tension on the derailleur to not have the chain chattering in gears 3 and 4. I needed to twist the black knob on the end of the derailleur where the cable enters it. I needed to look up online the instructions on how to adjust the derailleur on Shimano’s website. The model number of the derailleur is stamped on the rear side, the side toward the wheel. Mine was RD-TY300. Then found the Dealer Manual on Shimano’s website, in the section for “Using the B-tension adjust bolt”, which describes the knob. Note, there is no front derailleur. It was also weird that the product web page said is ships from California warehouses, but mine shipped from New Jersey. The manufacturer box says made in china. ... show more

I was blown away at the power and accelleration from this 500 watt motor. The pedal assist settings are spot on. At 64 lbs it is going to be an excellent addition for the RV'ers and people who wish to place it in their car and go out to a local park for a ride. I found the comfort was as good or better than a high end bike that I have. I have to give this bike 5 stars for the great value! Richard ... show more
