I bought this to upgrade my electric bike. 48 volt controller, 800 watt motor. I charged it first with the battery charger and after a few minutes the charger light turned green so it was pretty much a fully charged battery. The whole process was very simple. Plug it in to the controller and it's ready to go. It's lighter, more powerful and easier to use than my battery. I've used it 3 times for roughly 25 mile rides and the battery is still 40% charged which is perfect. This battery was delivered very quickly, my immediate reaction to opening the package when received was how well it was packaged as to protect the battery from damage while being shipped! Before ordering, I read the product link information in detail, the 48V 16AH Lithium ion Battery is suitable for 48V controllers and 0-1000W motors, the current of the controller should be less than 30A. I bought this for my 48V 800W electric tricycle, so the battery is a perfect match for my device. During the installation process I asked for some information about the battery and the seller was very quick to reply, the service was really great and I was very grateful for the speedy response! This battery was very easy to install and it only took me 20 minutes to complete the upgrade! I am able to use the 48V 16AH battery for longer rides, I've already taken 2 rides with the new battery and have only had to charge it once and it performed very well. I feel very satisfied with the upgraded quality of my rides! The battery also came with a 3A rapid charger, which further reduces charging time, which I really like! This battery is awesome! I am building an experimental kart and have tried other batteries. I need a lot of AH as I plan on long distance riding. I am able to get 13 miles on a charge, and that's running it pretty much full throttle the whole time. I was reaching speeds over 20mph! With the battery being small and lightweight, it was fairly easy to find a place to put it in the kart. Infact, I have enough room for two of these batteries! I can run two for longer run time or I can run 2 batteries with a 4x4 setup! ... show more

This 48 V battery works perfect for my mid drive bike motor. It has plenty of power and can drive my 750 W E bike around 40 miles. The battery seems to be very well made and definitely uses high-quality cells because I can get a bunch of amps out of it. It was not as big as I was expecting, and that is a good thing because I did not have much more room on my bike to put a bigger battery! The included charger works well and is fast to charge. I believe it uses 3A which is very quick, but also does not make the battery hot when charging. So far I have 4 charge cycles on it and I am ready for many many more with this beast of a battery! ... show more

This is a real winner! It was so easy to mount on my trike with the battery compatible rear rack. This battery gives me a lot of distance per charge. I also like that it is a compact and lightweight design. When I have completed a ride I just pull up to my patio and plug it in.
