Description

EBC Brakes first commenced the sale of brake shoes in 1984 and now catalog the largest range of brake shoes in the world. EBC brake shoes are made using either high pressure die cast aluminium platforms or steel platforms common on modern ATV drum brakes with bonded brake linings. All shoes are radius ground and edge trimmed and also feature lead in and lead out chamfers at lining ends and original equipment style brake shoe springs. EBC produced two ranges of brake shoes, both of which have always featured non asbestos linings for health safety and environmental reasons. Standard linings are a direct OEM replacement and the EBC WG Series water groove brakes shoes are the perfect answer for off road use where the grooves channel away dir dust water and debris.

The front brakes on my KTM Duke 890 R didn't have the best feel. I ordered the EBC brake pads and some Motul 5.1 brake fluid. The old pads were at the halfway point of the pad and were Brembo pads. With the fluid flush and the EBC pads, the brakes stop a lot more aggressively.

I initially purchased these as a back up until I could order the ones I wanted. They worked so well, I ended up using them on the race track. Awesome! Used on my Ducati 1299.

I've been using EBC brake pads for over a decade with great success. The EBC FA447HH brake pads offer similar or better performance at a significantly better price than the Brembo Genuine - Sinter (93) series (which comes as OEM equipment for Brembo M4 calipers on many bikes). On my current bike (custom Street Triple w/ Daytona 675R front end) tried the new Brembo LA brake pads too... But didn't like the feel they offer very much. In comparison to the EBC FA447HH, the Brembo LA brake pads are similar in price and easier on the rotor and they really last long. But... Anyways, missed the feel (read: more bite) of the EBC FA447HH brake pads so went back to them. I even managed to purchase one set for 10 bucks at Amazon Warehouse deals. Just an amazing deal thanks to Amazon ;) On a final note; I noticed that Amazon shows these brake pads as not compatible with Triumph Daytona 675R 13+ which is not true! They work fine on 13+ D675R 's Brembo M4 calipers! Just my $0.02 ... show more

Great pads; 1/3 the cost of the replacement Brembo’s. Can’t tell any difference in lever feel or grip.

I needed 2 sets of pads for my 2018 Ducati Multistrada 1260s and stock Brembo pads are $180 PER SET. I've owned 50+ bikes and never had to pay more than $60 per set for any bike. The media could not be loaded. The pads are perfect replacements for the OEM rear brake pads. I can't tell any difference in braking. This was the first replacement set I installed. The OEM pads still had some room to go but by the time I had them out and inspected I just decided to put in the new ones. ... show more
