Description

EBC Brakes first commenced the sale of brake shoes in 1984 and now catalog the largest range of brake shoes in the world. EBC brake shoes are made using either high pressure die cast aluminium platforms or steel platforms common on modern ATV drum brakes with bonded brake linings. All shoes are radius ground and edge trimmed and also feature lead in and lead out chamfers at lining ends and original equipment style brake shoe springs. EBC produced two ranges of brake shoes, both of which have always featured non asbestos linings for health safety and environmental reasons. Standard linings are a direct OEM replacement and the EBC WG Series water groove brakes shoes are the perfect answer for off road use where the grooves channel away dir dust water and debris.

  • Good
These seem to be very good quality and fit perfectly. I have not fully bedded them in yet as the manufacturer says if you use the old rotors brake gently for the first 300 miles to match them to the rotors then slow from 60 mph to 20 mph 10 times successively to bed the in. As for the bit of riding i have done with them they bite well but are not overly aggressive on light usage as their description might imply. ... show more

  • Good brakes
Easy to install, good stopping power and quiet for the most part.

  • Better than stock pads and my bike is 2016 MT09 that had a new stock pads before
I just changed the pads and i put around 100 miles or 160 km on them i feel that they still didn't fully set in place but the braking power is higher than the stock pads which are also wasn't bad at all. I'm definitely happy for the purchase because i improved my brakes 2000 miles later and i love them, better than stock for sure i feel i have 15% more stopping power This is my second time i ordered it... they last me over 40,000km with some very aggressive rides depends... but anyways i replaced the pads just now and went for 200km ride to polish them a bit.... still fantastic outcome and i still highly recommend... for my opinion it's much better than stock ... show more

  • These pads work great in all conditions
Been using these pads in various bikes for years. These pads take a second to warm up, but once they do, they bite hard! Street riding in mostly dry weather, occasional rain and seldom offroad. These pads work great in all conditions. I'm currently running these pads on my 2015 Yamaha FZ09. Amazon says they're not a fit for the front brake calipers, but they are. You'll need to purchase two. While these pads provide excellent stopping power, they are a little harsher on the rotors. ... show more

  • Fast Shipping & Super Easy Install
Super easy to install and stops as well as the oem pads. Hearing a little noise that I didn't hear with the oem pads but it's not bad and I assume they may quite down after I break them in, since I just installed them today and only did a 25 mile test ride.

  • Great pads!
These are a different formulation over the last set I've had, there's virtually no squeak to these at all unless you're really getting heavy on the brakes at low speed. Given the lack of an air channel within the pad, they do tend to make a very light noise related to the air passing through in the drilled portion of the rotor; some OEM pads even do this. I feel the bite of these new pads aren't as aggressive as my last set (on another bike), I'm not particularly excited about that but I have plenty of braking available, enough to lock up both the front and rear tire if i so dared. For you dual front disk bikes, if you're not careful, the initial bite may catch you by surprise if you're using the HH for the first time. It's far as rotor wear, that depends on how and what you'reriding. I ride fast and brake hard but I'm also only on a 700lb cruiser, and i still have the original rotors at over 20k miles having gone through 2 sets of oem and 2 sets of hh pads, this being my 3rd set of HH; I'm close to "minimum" thickness but the rotor is still good shape. Watch heating, these will get hot quick. I've switched to a dot 5 fluid simply for the purpose of higher boiling point and more responsive lever. Dot 5.1 may be a better choice for some of you on dot 3 or 4. ... show more

  • great stopping power.
These pads were a replacement for stock pads on my FZ6. I love the improved stopping power and feel of these pads. Only note of caution they have a heck of a lot stronger bite. I have locked my rear wheel a few times while relearning braking threshholds. And the fronts are powerful enough that I have lifted the rear with two ffingers on the lever. Be carefull and learn just how much better these are than stock. ... show more

  • Worked great on my FZ-07
Works and fits great on my 2015 FZ-07. I would say it gives close to twice as much bite. Makes 1 or 2 fingering much easier.
