The install was easy, nice fit. There is an audible noise like cicadas when driving now. That is due to the split in this pad vs oem not having that, rotors with holes will make noise with the pad most of the time. Still, a good brake for the price. Won't be buying again, I hate the noise, but it doe
s it's job for now.

They were a little grabby during the break in period, but now that they've worn in they're very smooth and predictable. Definitely less brake dust than the OEM pads and I think the bike stops a bit quicker. -2001 Honda Magna

Have not got many miles on these yet but they grip well. I had a a small shudder just before the full stop at first but it seems to be improving.

Better feel than stock pads NC750X
No brake fade and better feel on brake lever than OEM pads

There is no soft braking. Either no-brake or locked up. And screeches so loud on braking that it scares me and 50yrds around me. Like a 18wheeler stopping. At least it doesn't dust my wheel.

Increased stopping power on my Honda Magna
This is one area where Honda cut corners to save on manufacturing costs that most late model Magna owners hate. These V-4 power cruisers accelerate much quicker than the two banger under-powered Shadows and really need two disc brakes on the front to scrub off the speed. The OEM pads Honda offers are
barely adequate. Once these EBC sintered brake pads seat or wear in you will notice a big difference in stopping power and they might keep you from having a hot mess in your pants if you happen to get yourself in a tight spot. Speed never killed anyone, it's that pesky suddenly stopping that's the killer. If your brakes are making strange noises, as some of the other reviewers are complaining about, then it "sounds" like it's time to order a caliper rebuild kit and DOT 4 brake fluid which you can get here on Amazon. While you're at it buy the Motion Pro 08-0143 Hydraulic Brake Bleeder also available on Amazon for $12.59. It's a one person bleeder and is super easy to use IF you can follow directions. Don't be a scaredy cat. Learn how to do maintenance on your bike yourself and save some money. Go to youtube and watch the videos on bleeding motorcycle disc brake calipers because it's not a rocket science project.

A Proper fit for 2015 Honda CB 500 X
Pads were an exact fit for my 2015 CB500 X NISSAN brake. Appear well made. Pads are a bit fiddley to get into the caliper. Be patient. Give the inside of the caliper a good cleaning including the pistons before installing. Also lube the sliding pins of the caliper. Lastly, the retaining pin will prob
ably be corroded some. Scrape or sand clean. Add a VERY thin amount of grease on the retainer when assembling. Don't forget to transfer the anti-rattle / squeak parts from the old pads onto the new ones. Watch for metal tensioners inside the caliper falling out of position. Noticed solid braking with these pads. Seem excellent so far. Single rotor front brake has good stopping power.

FA196HH on 2004 VTX1300C front and after 200 miles still noisy. Sounded like squeeky sand when braking light to moderate. Reinstalled old factory pads...no sound. The last sound pads made was a thud as they hit the bottom of trash bin. Ordered new factory pads. Had same issue recently with rear brake
on DRZ400SM using EBC pads, went back to factory on it as well. Not sure what is up as I have been using EBC for many many years but no more. They both gripped well with little fade when hot...just hate the squeek and grinding noise.

Great price and easy to install at home.
For some reason Amazon says it doesn’t fit the CB500X, but after checking other website I decided to buy this one. Used in my front break and it was the same my local Honda dealer was looking on their catalog. Highly recommend.

These were a perfect fit, as replacements for the pads on my Honda. The originals lasted 22,000 and probably would have gone another 5, but they were 20 years old now so I began to worry about age deterioration. These are a little different than the factory pads in that the originals were not two dis
tinct pads like this, but one pad with four grooves. There is one disturbing phenomenon. I could hear a fastpaced ticking (almost a buzz) when (and only when) I applied the front brake with my old pads. This is from the vent holes in my rotor contacting the leading edges of the pads, These new pads softly make that same sound almost constantly, and more loudly when I apply the brake. I am wondering if that might be because of the larger center gap between brake pad surfaces, or perhaps just what happens until the pads wear in a bit more. There is no apparent friction when the brakes are not applied, so I am more puzzled by this than worried. We'll see how it is after I put a few hundred miles on them. The bike does seem to stop with less brake effort, so assuming the swarm of bees quiets down eventually these are a big win.

Good brakes, no noise after 200 miles
on a Triumph Tiger, I chewed through a set of EBC organic pads in one set of tires. Nothing left much of the brakes. That gets expensive Got these because they're the next step in durability. No noise, and they stop good. The directions are RIGHT ON. The first few times you apply them, they are weak
until they warm up and get a good fit with the rotor. They might scare you once or twice before they break in, so don't push it. After 200 miles they settle right in, less in stop and go traffic. I hope and expect they will last 20,000 miles or more. I don't like changing brakes every time I change tires. Tigers are too heavy for organic pads in my opinion. And I am not that hard on brakes. Just interstate riding to work.
