The Problem: I have dry cracked heels. My right heel has a 1/2" long crack that hurts when I walk on it. Treatment #1: For two weeks I rubbed hand lotion on my heels every night just before bed. It did virtually nothing. The cracks are still there, and the large crack on my right heel still hurts when I walk on it. Treatment #2: I bought a jar of this product. For two weeks I rubbed some on my heels every night just before bed. My heels are looking better, but they're still not as soft as I'd like for them to be. The crack on my right heel is still about the same size, and it still hurts when I walk on it. Treatment #3: I bought a heel file (pedicure foot rasp). Every night just before bed, I filed the rough areas on each heel for about 90 seconds. I then applied the Ebanel cream. After the first week: My heels are looking quite a bit better. The crack on my right heel is now only about half as large, but it still hurts a little bit when I walk on it. After the second week: The crack on my right heel is now completely gone, and it no longer hurts to walk on it! Both of my heels are now soft, free of cracks, and they no longer look like something you'd see on an Egyptian mummy. Conclusion: This product works. But I believe it took a combination of the cream and the heel file to give me the results I wanted. I no longer want to go back to dry cracked heels. So every night just before I go to bed, I file each heel for about 1 minute and then apply the Ebanel cream. My heels have stayed soft and free of cracks. Note: The consistency of this product is a thick cream. It has a somewhat medicinal odor, but it's not noticeable once you rub it in. I've used 4 different foot callous repair products. 2 of them have the same 40% urea and 2% salicylic acid. I'm male, 6', 265 lbs, and I have very rough and calloused feet if I don't regularly maintain them. Maintaining my feet means foot using repair lotions regularly and using one of those hand-held cheese graters for foot calluses. THIS STUFF WORKS! Yes, it's sticky. Yes it has a scent (it's like a tea tree or eucalyptus smell). Yes, it is kind of runny. Yes, you need to spend more time rubbing it in so it fully absorbs. The other product I use (NUVADERMIS Urea Cream) is absorbed quickly and has no smell. But it (and the other foot repair lotions I've used) are not nearly as effective as this Ebanel Urea Cream. Hands down. When I need serious repair, I used this after showering in the morning and before going to bed. After 1 week my skin is fully moisturized. I then use a callus scraper on my dry feet and the dead skin flakes and scrapes right off with ease, leaving smooth new skin. I love the results! Definitely effective for soft, moisturized, elbows, heels, knees. I found it colorless but a little greasy. But, it was so effective that I just used it with sox and long sleeve pj's to cover knees and elbows. If you don't mind accommodating the slow absorption, works great!! I wish I would’ve taken a before and after pic, but I seriously did not think I’d notice much difference after just one application. Lately my feet have been extremely dry. I get in bed and my sheets feel like they are going to rip when I rub my feet across them, so I randomly decided to search Amazon for a dry/cracked foot treatment. I was convinced by a lot of the reviews and decided to just try it. The consistency is like really tacky Elmer’s glue. Smells like tea tree oil, but nothing over powering. It’s slightly awkward to rub into your skin because of the consistency, but give it a minute or so and it feels fine. Seriously my skin was all white and cracked before.. it was so horrible. This stuff took away like 90% of that instantly!!! I’ve only been using it for two days now.. morning and night, but I’m already in love with the results, especially for this low of a price. I hated using the “cheese grater” on my heels *winces*, and although I may do that again here or there, I think this may be my new go to product. Honestly texture was not what I expected. Reminds me of elmers glue for sure. I have applied to knuckles on hands feet. Leaves a white residue as it does not seem to soak in. Seems to be more of application for feet and elbows where it can be covered up. It seems to be working ok, but based on reviews I haven't seen results like most. So far I would say the results are similar to Vaseline and other severe dry skin lotions. ... show more

Let me preface that it is a property of urea creams to be sticky... So, that's unpleasant, but entirely expected. Of course it feels icky after applied.... But it is a powerful hummectant. It really works and is a great price. I don't notice any fragrance - which I prefer.
