Over the years, I have spent so much money at a jewelry store having watch batteries replaced not even realizing I could have done it at home so easily! As the owner of quite a few watches, I am always needing to repl a battery or change a watch band. This little kit works great. I really like the 2 pin tool for removing watch backs. It is much easier to use than the 3 pin style. And the included tools like the screwdriver and shim tool for popping off case backs is very useful. Worth it for the price. The special knife to got the snap on backs off works well once you find the spot to get the knife into the back to pry it off. I haven't used the other tools yet. Overall nice, and should save a bunch of money over time not needing to take watches to a jeweler for a battery change. ... show more

I needed an affordable, and easy way to change the watch battery, in several watches I had lying around. (I didn’t want to find, and pay a jeweler, to replace the watch batteries. That can get expensive, real quick!) The “EasyTime Watch Repair Kit - Watch Battery Replacement Tool Kit” got the job done! The “Kit” has all the tools needed, to remove the back of your watch, and replace the watch battery. With this ”Kit”, I was able to remove the back of my watch, and locate, replace the watch battery, in about 5 minutes! . (Detailed instructions included in the packaging!)     • Great kit for amateur horologists or even if you just want to change your own watch battery
I am just getting in to working on watches and the first thing one needs to do when working on a watch is to open it. I ordered this kit for that reason and it was the best dollar value I could possibly imagine. Within a few minutes of receiving this kit I used the tools contained therein to successfully remove the snap backs from two vintage Seiko watches I bought 40 years ago so I could replace the batteries. What a thrill to wear those two old friends once again! Total cost to get my old friends back was $8 for the toolkit and $8 for the replacement batteries. I used the watch vise / holder tool to hold the watch, and the chisel shaped tool to pop the backs off. No case damage, no scratches! Though I did not wind up using the other tools: screwdriver set, case back knife, and notched case opener, I found them and all the tools in this set to be quality, well built items. The screwdriver is anodized aluminum, not plastic. The notched case tool is likewise anodized metal and is substantial and hefty. The case knife and chisel shaped tool are both thick and well ground steel. And the watch holder is a dense teflon like polymer. Overall I am super pleased at my choice and I'm looking forward to using this as my base tool set upon which I can add more tools as my need and skill increase. ... show more

    • Doesn't come with a back press
The kit is fine, KNOW what type of back you have, you may need a press and this doesn't have it. If you have a snap back you will need a press, this is not in the kit

    • It was easy to use and worked perfectly.
It made it so easy to replace the batteries in 5 watches and saved me $15/watch to have a jeweler do it. Buy the watch kit first and see what size batteries you need. I ordered the wrong ones and had to return for the smaller size.
