Cheap, fits nicely, comes with an added copper plate for the bottom of the pi. This is not a necessary product if you do not need to run intense processes on your pi, however if you do, buying this + a fan-case is an absolute necessity even for hobbyists. Keep in mind that the adhesion is good enough to prevent the heatsinks from coming off when brushing against them, however they are still easy to remove. This may not be desirable for someone looking for a more permanent solution to heatsinks. ... show more

The pads and fins stick firmly with solid adhesion. It wicks away the heat nicely without burning up the glue it uses to stick, an obviously important factor of any heat sink. The copper pads are useless on a Pi 4 as the design is different, so don't expect to get any use out of those if you're only buying this for a model 4b. Combining these with an active cooling GPIO fan results in the best cooling you can get for your little pocket computer. ... show more

They work okay using them as designed, a slight temp decrease but nothing crazy. I use them a bit differently than intended though. These are being used in conjunction with a nespi case+ For the chip on the bottom (the ram I believe) I fit two of the small black heatsinks with their original thermal pads. For the cpu, I removed the thermal pad and added a tiny amount of mx-4 thermal paste in hopes it would really get that cpu temp down. And yes, that does work a lot better. I also did the same with the small chip. Last thing I did was add a fan to the nespi case. Overclocking the cpu from 1.2GHz to 1.4, and the gpu getting a 50 MHz overclock stays below 60c. I'll probably have a go at going even higher. ... show more

I noticed that there was a chip on the underside of my Raspberry Pi 3B+ that runs very hot, and I suspected that the Pi was throttling back due to excessive heat. I didn't think I had enough clearance under the board for the finned heatsink (I probably did though,) so I used the flat copper heat spreader. It did the trick- the hot spot is much more diffuse and runs much cooler (verified with a digital thermometer.) I also used the finned heat sink on the main processor. Haven’t tested it yet, nor did I test adhesion yet. But I noticed the title is misleading a bit .. it says 20pcs while it is more correct to say “4 heat sinks for 1 raspberry pi (pack of 4)” to indicate the product is enough for maximum of 4 raspberry pis not just “20pcs”. Hence the 4 stars.

I added all 3 heat sinks and the copper bottom plate and then ran my Raspi 4+ 8GB as a NAS and did a large data transfer and the temp spiked up to 67c which was the same temperature before I even added these heat sinks, they do nothing at these temperatures. I'm not sure if I pushed it closer to 80c if they would do anything but at this rate I doubt it. ... show more
