I would give this 5 stars, but I haven't spilled anything to test that aspect of this cover. The color looked the same as the listing and it feels very comfortable. It protects the side of my couch from my cat scratching and the couch from his hair.

So like many of you, I got the couch cover because I have two older dogs that Have accidents. The item came on time, packaged well and fit swell on the couch. Obviously, the ottoman can't be completely covered because of the armrest on the end of the couch, but overall, I think it fits nicely. The cover is soft, water resistant as far as we can tell, a nice color and washes easily. However, it does NOT stay in place with dogs and kids. I constantly have to fix and adjust it and it couldn’t be more frustrating.

    • Doesn’t cover entire couch but still a nice cover

I do like this cover. It’s easy to put on (although I did throw out those rods that are supposed to hold them in place. They were a pain and we honestly didn’t need them) and is easy to wash. However, it doesn’t cover the entirety of the chaise on our couch. It leaves a sliver of the cushion exposed on both sides. It also leaves the side of the chaise to the floor exposed, too. We don’t mind it really but if you’re looking for total coverage, this cover won’t do that. ... show more
