After being sold what we were told were "leather" couches, within 3 years they started to peel. We didn't want to throw them away because they are still sturdy and their cushion is great so we needed something to cover the peeling and these were perfect. They fit great. The only negative part of these, is if you have pets, their hair sticks to these like a magnet and you constantly have to vacuum! Also they can be a bit of a struggle to put on. ... show more

    • Over stuffed couch backing doesn't really fit

If you have an oversized stuffed couch or loveseat there is a few things you must realize the side panel doesn't have enough fabric to cover all sides of couch back panel of a couch cover again doesn't quite fit over the back you have to really stretch it and it hasn't a tendency to pop off because it doesn't really fit over stuffed couches I did take proper measurements and I knew that the couch cover was going to fit my couch however the bottom part of the couch cover fits perfectly no complaints about that it's just the side panel needed maybe a half an inch more fabric and the top panel needed another inch and a half to 2 in more fabric keeps popping off my couches it's kind of annoying other than these few issues the couch covers are nice and they're very comfortable otherwise I would have gave five stars instead of four ... show more

    • Tricky install due to short elastic 'ties'.

We're fairly disappointed in this reclining loveseat cover, but it might be right for other people. Pros: 1. the wine color is a very nice color 2. the fabric is very soft - somewhere between knit and velvet 3. comes with plastic 'locking' gizmos to connect the elastic 'tie' straps 4. has side pockets on the arms, though not sure how useful they are Cons: 1. required several washes to stop bleeding red dye and to remove manufacture odor of the dye 2. the elastic 'tie' loops that are used to secure the bottom seat pieces to the furniture (by connecting to each other behind and under the couch) are too short to grab readily; one of our family has *very* small hands and was only able to retrieve the straps after over 20 minutes of repeated efforts and scraped up hands 3. it just doesn't fit particularly well; we have a slimline style, electric reclining loveseat, so maybe it works better for traditional shaped mechanical reclining furniture, but on ours it is too baggy and too wide at the top of the backrest, the seat cover part is conversely almost too narrow and doesn't wrap very securely around the width of the seat, and the arms are stretched to their furthest from front to back and again don't seem to wrap very securely around the edges Overall, we wouldn't buy this particular cover again, but it may work easier for traditional style mechanical reclining furniture that a) doesn't have the electrical workings underneath so there would possibly be easier access to grab the short 'tie' elastics, and b) has a poofier, wider back and narrow-ish seats with shallower arms. ... show more

I have been looking everywhere for a cover for my oversized recliner - or "cuddle chair." You just can't find them. I took measurements, and there is just nothing to be found. I finally thought - well, you are going to have to think outside the box on this one, or make one yourself, and sewing is not my gift. I looked at several oversized recliners, loveseat combos, and nothing seemed right - the measurements were close, but not perfect. Finally, I saw this, and another one, and got them both. Well, the other one came, and I didn't even open it, said nope. Just doesn't feel right. This came, and I was like, I can make this work. The arms are a bit tight, but as you can see, it fits. The back piece is a bit big, but I was able to rig it with the elastic bands and hooks it comes with, and plus, you can't really tell. It came in six pieces, I used four. It covered the "fake" leather that is flaking off, and when I piled my boyfriend and two dogs into it, the pieces didn't flip back off - I call it a win. I got it in the Navy, and I love the color. It is a nice dark blue, the fabric is really soft - it is thin, and I have only had for one day in these photos, but the fur kids have jumped up, down, in and around, and did not leave scratch marks or rip it. Both arms have pockets on the side - it does not have a hole for a lever or any sort of handle, so if that bothers you, take that in account before you purchase. My chair just has a little circle handle, which can easily be used right through the fabric, and is fine by me. Again - I used this for a chair - not a loveseat. Not its intended purpose and I am in love. Fantastic!! My cuddle chair measurements are roughly - 36" high from bottom to top of back; 48-53" wide across the top back; 48-50" footrest base; armrest length 27"; seat width 34"; base width 30" - there is some difference in whether you include the sides or fluffiness of the cushions in your measurements!
