    • Great Value for a Beginner Harmonica

This harmonica is great for its price point, making it a decent low-commitment option for beginners who want to learn the basics. However, when you want to start getting into learning more intermediate techniques such as bending, you may struggle with this harmonica. It is not very responsive so it is quite difficult to manipulate what the reeds are doing. You may spend weeks trying to master the bend with this harmonica while with a higher quality one it may only take you a few hours. The sound quality is very good for the price and the ergonomics are decent, but the main thing holding it back is the amount of air you have to push through it on the higher notes in order to get a quality sound, and the aforementioned fidelity issues with bending. This harmonica cost less than a fancy coffee and is a lot of fun to play. I've never tried harmonica before other than on plastic toys, but right away I was able to figure out how to run decent melodies and sound like I might know what I'm doing.
