The pencil case was hard to use because it was very flat and the zipper could only go halfway through the whole pencil case. Pens on the left side were hard to reach and was very inconvenient. Besides that, it was a pretty sturdy and nice looking pencil case.

I ordered this pouch to hold my daughter’s pencils. She’s in 5th grade and needed a ton for school. I wanted something thin and compact to hold pencils apart from her school supply bag. In the picture there are 42 Ticonderoga pencils inside and 5 mechanical pencils in the pocket. There is still room inside and in the pocket area. Anymore than 45 pencils inside and I’m not sure you could fill the outside pocket much. I will say, I didn’t look too closely at the pictures because I assumed the pouch opened above the pocket. That’s not the case. The zipper is along the side. Which turned out to be just fine. So far it’s exactly what I wanted. I can’t comment on longevity since I just received it.
