I love this for little bits and bobs, small bead sets that don't warrant their own container otherwise. Sequins, snaps, tiny buttons, it all works great. The biggest problem is that the tabs don't always shut well. If you brush against them, some of them open without resistance. Keep an eye on that.

Convenient and helpful. Arrived in perfect condition. To be honest at first I wasn’t a fan of all the boxes in each section being connected. I thought “If I try to pour one drill set out all the other colors will open and spill!” Valid worry, as some of the kids open way easier than others on some I received. However, I quickly came to love the attached boxes because it’s easy to hold the other lids down, pour, or quickly go one color to another if you are working on a section that needs colors in that same row. My only wish was that they were bigger, and that there were more cubes to a set as most of my projects I’ve found have more than 28 colors. But that’s on me for not considering that, so still giving 5 stars. ... show more

This is very good drill storage for diamond painting and I have used this product for quite some time, ordering more as I became more adept at the craft. Every diamond painter out there knows that each person develops their own way of doing things and finds what works for them. While this product worked for me for a while, I have found that with the constant opening and closing of the lids as I work on a project, some of the lids lose their grip, just flop open, won't close securely, and become unusable. This would not necessarily be a problem if not for the fact that there are four containers attached together in each row, so when one becomes floppy and unusable, I have to tape it shut, mark it with an "X" and use the remaining attached compartments. This means a lot of unusable space is taken up in the outer container box, which means I have a lot more container boxes taking up room in my work space, a lot of shuffling the container boxes around. When one lid goes bad, it pretty much makes the whole row of four connected containers a bit of a pain, which is not what diamond art is all about. This is not a bad product, and I do not hesitate recommending it for anyone starting out in this craft to use it for this purpose as it is relatively inexpensive and will not require a major investment as one determines whether to continue with the craft. For me, as I have progressed in executing larger projects, it no longer fits my needs. I need maximum drill storage in a small amount of space. One way in which I recommend an improvement in this product is to not attach four containers in a row so that when one goes bad, the whole row has to be thrown out. I am moving on to larger, separate containers with screw-top lids as opposed to snap lids which wear out after a couple of projects. ... show more

    • Excellent cases for Diamond Dots, Jewelry findings, Beads, etc.

I do a good bit of Diamond Dots paintings, and I think this set of cases is the best I have found. They are sturdy, clear, and they come 6 cases to a pack. Each case has 4 connected, but separately opening compartments across, and 7 segments of the 4 across to one case, so a total of 28 individually opening compartments to one case. This is important for Diamond Dots, as you need to be able to open each color individually, so only one color is open at a time, for pouring out as well as for dipping into the dots. I read on reviews where some peoole felt they weren't sturdy, but that has not been my experience. I think if you are gentle with the opening & closing of the snaps, you should be just fine. They also come with many sets of white labeling stickers that fit each individual compartment, which is fantastic for labeling the individual colors of each separate dots section.
