This is one of the best valued products I have had the pleasure of sublimating onto. As a small sublimation business owner, finding value and quality are often a challenge, especially on amazon. This set however, is among the top tier for small makeup bags. They are thin but very sturdy and they take ink flawlessly. I used 375 for 60 seconds on each side that I sublimated onto. I had placed butcher paper inside to prevent ink from crossing from the front to the back but to my surprise- the ink didn't even penetrate to the back of the side sublimated onto. These zipper bags are bright white and grab the sublimation ink EXACTLY like I hoped! The colors were bright and the white contrast was perfect. To save the zipper from being smashed and possibly marred/melted by my heat press, I put a thin towel under the bag (but not the zipper) to give the zipper some space. This particular bag will hold my charging cord, mouse, and various other things for my laptop (guess which brand!). I haven’t washed the bag and probably never will, so I can’t make any claims re: how it holds the ink with washing. ... show more

Like others have said, these bags need a few seconds under the press to allow shrinking before printing (see first photo). I got about 1/8” shrinkage on mine. 350 degrees (f) for 60 seconds got a clean print (see photo 2). Yes, the poly/nylon zipper will also take the ink, so if it’s a concern, cover the zipper with heat tape. Only the zipper pull is metal. The paper I used here is TexPrint for poly fabric. There’s no fabric content tag, but these are 100% polyester. In photo 3, I used Chromablast sublimation paper, which is for cotton and cotton/poly blend fabrics. The ink “melts” into this bag and the paper sticks to it, which tells me that it is the WRONG paper for the fabric. Finally, I didn’t use a pillow inside the bag since it is a test for which paper to use, so yes the seams look odd. I followed the instructions from the previous reviews. I turned all the bags inside-out and pressed them to “pre-shrink”. I have a heat press and I have a Cricut 9X9 press. For this project, I used my Cricut heat press. After turning all of them inside out, I pressed them all for 30 seconds at 400 degrees. Then I right sided them. I taped down all four sides. 400 degrees at 95 seconds, Hope this helps ... show more

Due to such a thick inner seam the pressure is not consistent across the whole bag. These were the best. Others only pressed portions and had faded parts. I have a large flat heat press and leave zipper just out so no reason to have secrions. I literally turned them inside out and trimmed the seams shorter to get these results. Not worth the effort so need something to make the seam ends even with the centers that can stand that much heat. So hit or miss. Out of making 15 only have maybe 4 turn out. I'll have to try a tiny hand press to see if that works at all and just do center only designs for rest. ... show more
