This is a good table and chair set but not a great table and chairs. It is an excellent value for the money and works well in our space, but it won't ever be a family heirloom. It is straightforward and easy to assemble, the fit and finish are good, and it looks great in the space we have. I purchased this set and it arrived well packaged. The set is very sturdy and looks so nice in my eating area. Although I didn’t assemble it myself there was no problem with the assembly. I would definitely recommend this set.

When I first opened the package, I was very pleased and impressed with the quality of the wood finish and the cushion covers. It was in pieces, but was actually quite easy to assemble. I am a 67 year old female and it was easy for me to put together, so no worries for anyone. I was extremely happy with the size, etc and it fit perfect in the kitchen eat in area. After a week, one of the chairs broke underneath where the wood piece meets the screw. It was one chair a week to break and now I have to buy new chairs. There was no extra heavy people or abuse to the chairs. The wood is probably too soft or not thick enough to handle the weight. I do like the table and will keep that, but so disappointed I cannot use the chairs. Buy this at your own risk. ... show more

This set is perfect for a small kitchen and when I need some additional work area I just open the leaf. I am a senior woman and I had no problem assembling the table and chairs myself. The instructions were very clear and if you follow them you will have no problem.

This is a really nice looking dining set. I love the fact that it has drop leafs. The wood looks nice the color is great. Only issue I have is the drop leafs when put up sloped down just a little bit. Notice this after I put it together not worth taking apart and shipping back.
