We have only owned this for a few weeks, but we are happy with it so far. FYI, you can assemble it without the legs if you rather make it lower for a kids room. The gray material is a nice neutral gray (not too cool or too warm). The seats aren’t that deep, so the ottomans are a must for comfort. We have this in our basement for our teens, and it seems perfect for that. We haven’t put the connecting pieces on, and it doesn’t move around. For reference, our walls are agreeable gray paint. I can’t say it looks high end because it’s obviously a boxy sectional, but some people do so well with design that they can make it fit decently well with fancy decor, I’m sure. There are no hinges on the ottomans which is nice because you don’t have to worry about them breaking. ... show more

    • What you see is what you get

The best thing about it is that what you get is pretty much what you see from the product's pictures. I definitely recommend it. The reasons I am not giving it 5 stars now is: 1) The coach comes in multiple separate packages delivered on different days and you have to guess that the assembly instructions are in one of the boxes. I had no idea that the instructions would come in the box with the armrest so I had to figure out by myself how to assemble it and of course the armrest box was the last one I opened and was disappointed that the instructions were there after I nearly finished assembling the whole thing. If there were an online assembly guide or a note on each box where to find the instructions it would save me a lot of time. Fortunately assembly is straightforward once you figure it out. 2) The couch does seem cheap. It looks good but after a second and third look it seems it might not last. Since I bought it recently, I may need time to assess it better. 3) The armrest and the back are loose and seem fragile. If you're going to leave the back of the couch against a wall, it's no problem. If not, you feel it a little loose when you sit or use the armrest. Overall, I am very happy with it and so far it's good value for the money. ... show more
