VERY nice Kitchen-stools/Countertop-high-bar-stools. Very easy assembly. Nicely upholstered. Fairly comfortable (my "seat" is too wide for the curved backrest of the stool) but soft and nice. Only one problem (a threaded insert pulled out of a leg) which was quickly rectified by the vendor's Customer Service by sending a replacement leg. All vendors should take lessons from this one! I tried to upload a photo but wasn't able. These bar stools are beautiful and give your room a sleek, contemporary look. Probably should put them on a rubber mat for added stability. They were very easy to assemble.

    • No longer salvageable after 3 months

These chairs weren't too difficult to put together. It took me about an hour or so for each chair. They are really comfortable and look really nice. They match our furniture perfectly. The issue is that the screws constantly loosen. The sockethead screws came with lock washers. Every so often, the chair would feel wobbly and I would go and retighten those to reseat the lock washers. A dab of blue loctite on all of the threads may help with this but I never tried. The wood screws do not have a lot of grip into the wood and would constantly come loose. Only the tip of the screw actually gripped onto wood. When you go to tighten them, there wouldn't be enough material for them to tighten back down. I swapped some of them out with longer screws and that's held one chair together so far. The other chairs pads that the sockethead screws go through broke off. They are glued to the seat and two of them broke at the glue seam. I tried to hobble it back together but it's unfixable. So after 3 months, I'm left with one functional chair. I'm not convinced it'll last much longer. Every 3 or 4 weeks, I have to get my tools and screws out and touch up these chairs. I think they are great chairs if you are looking for purely decorative pieces that will only be sat in a handful of times per year but if you would like stable and reliable chairs for daily use, they are not appropriate for the task. ... show more

These chairs are overall a good value, but be aware of a couple of things: The assembly process of the legs takes some effort - the screws require a bit of wax (we used some dial soap) to ensure they are screwed in all the way. Also, one chair had the legs a bit uneven, requiring some additional adjustment. Overall, we're happy with this purchase, but future buyers should be aware of these issues. ... show more
