I can't compare this to any other primer because it is the only one I have used (I have just recently started wearing make up, other than eyeliner and mascara, again). What I can say is this goes on easily. As other reviewers have said, it feels sticky initially, but dries weightless. I also think it dries quickly so keep that in mind when applying. I do feel as though this is a light product, it does not make me feel like I am wearing a mask. I feel like it evens out my skin texture but I am unsure what, if anything, it does for my foundation and powder (both also e.l.f. brand) but I have not tried using them without this primer. I’m blown away by how well this drugstore priced primer works! The picture is my face over 12 hours after I put my makeup on. And that’s 44-year-old skin! This primer is the best! It goes on light, but it’s so sticky when you first out it on. I promise it doesn’t feel sticky all day. It dries in 30 seconds, and has been great for me to feel like my makeup doesn’t slide off my face by the end of the day.
