  • I wish I bought this year's ago
DYNASTY PROAUDIO WSA-5TR (Version 2) Wireless Subwoofer Speaker Kit works flawlessly as soon as hooked up. Forget wires to your Sub. Well worth the price. So other than the obvious reason of running wires why did I need this? This may be important for some. 10 years ago I built my home entertainment center around my Onkyo AV receiver. I built my 6.3 cu.ft Sub with a 12 inch Shiva driver and Dayton 500 watt plate amp. While the sub in a far corner away from the receiver I wired it by running an LFE cable up inside the wall (10 ft), 30 ft across the attic and dropped it down to the speaker (10ft). So 50 ft of cable was used. It did work and sounded great but every morning when I turned the system on the connection to the sub was gone. I got it back by removing the LFE cable connector to the sub and plugging it back in. It worked all day but each morning I had to again re-establish the sub connection. This went on through 2 more plate amps and two AV receivers over the next 8 years. With all these changes I felt it had to be the LFE cable but I was too old to go climbing back across the attic so lived with it. Then I learned about a line amplifier device. I thought maybe this could restore the signal strength at the end of the cable. Bought one from Amazon and hooked it up. Seemed to be doing its job as the signal adjustment knob would increase volume to the sub but the next morning the sub had again lost its signal and I had to again unplug and re-plug the cable to get it to work. Determined to solve this problem I learned of wireless Sub devices. I bought this unit, hooked it up and it immediately worked. So, only one more check. Would the Sub work in the morning. YES! Worked perfectly. Finally, an extremely easy solution. Maybe others with strange Sub signal issue will benefit from this information. ... show more

  • Works just as I hoped
I have a subwoofer with the speaker wire running through the wall for years but it just started developing a buzz sound. I didn't want to rewire through the walls so I thought I would try this option. I initially bought a cheaper item which advertised the same thing but the sound that came out was tinny and missing the bass. I figured I'd try one more time and bought this item. It works perfect. The bass hits just like it did wired and now it's wireless. It's exactly what I was looking for. ... show more

  • I Wish I Found This Device Sooner
Worked out of the box with no configuration needed. It defaulted to 5.8 GHz setting, indicated by the blue light (green for 5.2 GHz). I use this device for my surround speakers (not for subwoofer). For reference I use external amp to drive the surround speakers. Before I tested the audio part, I made sure it did not interfere with my Wifi 6 (5GHz). I measured the download speed of my Fire TV Max while this device was also turned on. To my delight, the download speed remained at 400+ Mbps (see picture). My internet is symmetrical 1 Gbps/1 Gbps upload/download, so your download speed may vary with the Fire TV Max. I don't have a Wifi 6E device to test for interference yet. But my router is Wifi 6E compatible. Time will tell if the 5.8 GHz setting on this device would interfere with the 6 GHz band of Wifi 6E. Then I tested the audio part. It was close to perfect. The sound had minimal delay and was crystal clear - no pops and ticks. There was a slight delay but is acceptable even for multi-channel music (SACD/DVD-Audio/Apple Music Atmos). The delay is not noticeable when watching tv/movies. This is the 3rd product of this kind I bought in 6 years. My previous ones use bluetooth technology and they were bad. I wish I found this product sooner, granted it was introduced at Amazon as early as 2019. The only con I could find are the bright pilot light and its white color. My rack is full of black components so this device stands out from the rest. I still give it 5 stars despite these cons. ... show more

  • Used product for full price, but is working okay in initial testing
Upon opening the package, it's clear that this was a returned item - perhaps the previous person didn't get it to work correctly in their environment etc. Regardless, it appears to be working correctly with my theater - getting clean buzz-free audio to my 2 rear subwoofers. Previously, I have had pro-grade cabling installed in my ceiling - and have also run a cable along the floor - and there is so much 60 hz noise picked up on those that it's annoying at low listening levels. Regardless - I'll update and add or remove stars as needed - but I did knock one star off for this being a pre-owned product. ... show more

  • Wireless Subwoofer Kit
The kit works great. No hum or lag. I would buy again. I'm using it on my powered subwoofer in a home theater.

  • Connected Easily, multiple subs
Used to connect multiple subwoofers. I had a lot of humming when connected my subwoofers with a cable. Decided to try wireless, this enabled me to move subs away from cable interfernce eliminating the hum. Good because you can place subs anywhere in your room.

  • This thing works perfectly right out of the box!
OK - I just wrote a bad review on the SVS SoundPath Wireless Audio Adapter. I'll be honest - I didn't choose the Dynasty Proaudio product first because of the color of the transmitter/receiver units (which are white). As a suggestion consider changing color to black to make them more camouflaged and consistent with the color of other audio equipement. Anyway - the SVS SoundPath Wireless Audio Adapter didn't work out of the box. Dropped signals and distorted audio coming from my subwoofer. I returned the SVS product and ordered this Dynasty Proaudio WSA-5TR-V2 product. I simply connected the RCA cabled and power cable and it works perfectly out of the box. Sounds great and works perfectly. I moved my subwoofer behind my sectional couch and no problems with signal loss or audio quality. Highly recommended based on my experience so giving this 5 stars. Cheers! ... show more

  • Works great until you have a power blip
This is easy to set up and provides clean signal path UNTIL...If we have a power outage for a few seconds when everything comes back this will produce about a 60Hz rumble until the transmitter is power cycled. It worries me because it is a pretty high amplitude signal and if left unchecked would probably not be real great for connected equipment. ... show more
